The Maudfather
well i guess all the people that predicted he would pass abdullah look dumb now Not really. Heard is an extremely talented back and he very well could have passed Abdullah. He never got enough carries and I don't blame him one bit for wanting to go be a feature back somewhere else. huskeraddict
Braylon Heard's talent/carries were severely mismanaged. He should have been on the field A LOT more especially when Burkhead was injured. Can't blame the kid for wanting out, 1 Quote Link to comment

GJT1347
Lets be honest here. Nebraska's running game will not change one bit without Heard next year. If you really are a fan of his, you will support this decision so he can get some playing time somewhere else, and maybe a shot at the pro's 1 Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
Odd how all these Cardinal Mooney guys are bailing once Marrow leaves. I have a feeling Love will follow suit 1 Quote Link to comment

Creighton Duke
Kinda feel like we strung him along a bit, switching positions a couple of times and whatnot. Wonder if things would have beend different if he would have moved to a position and stayed there. Quote Link to comment

NebraskaHarry
I always thought Heard would have been a better DB than a RB. I think he can be a starter at a really low profile D1 school or the D2 schools, but I never thought he was more than a number 2 or 3 guy at the big time places. If he wants to play pro, he needs to play D. Quote Link to comment
