Norhusker
More than likely it's going to be Danny Langsdorf. Well, the relationship between Langsdorf and Cavanaugh is there not to mention Riley: May 2007, Langsdorf underwent surgery to donate a kidney to Laurie Cavanaugh. Laurie is the wife of Mike Cavanaugh, offensive line coach at Oregon State This wouldn't surprise me at all. Quote Link to comment

Agreed, but he is also the CEO. He needs someone who teaches the same technique and be the one on one coach. Quote Link to comment
BRV920
So Riley is just going to hire a bunch of his buddy's? Where is all the bitching and moaning? Quote Link to comment

Abdullah the Butcher
I'm not too excited for the buddy system but c'est la vie. Quote Link to comment
Kiyoat Husker
If true, this would seem like a solid hire. Young guy, coaches son, former Boise st qb, coached in both cfb and nfl. Was oc at osu during their most successful period. From Wikipedia: Danny Langsdorf (born June 28, 1972) is the current quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants. In his six years as the offensive coordinator at Oregon State, his offenses have produced big numbers. Four of the top eight statistical season performances in total offense at Oregon State have come under his guidance. Quote Link to comment
Red Five
An NFL caliber QB coach should do wonders for our QB crew after basically having Ganz be the defacto QB coach for the last few years. Quote Link to comment
Ed Helms
So Riley is just going to hire a bunch of his buddy's? Where is all the bitching and moaning? Yup buddies that have experience and that have had success at the position they are going to coach. Not gonna have any first-time coordinators (Papuchis, Beck), and not gonna have coaches that have never coached at a Power 5 school (Papuchis, Els, Fisher, Garrison). There's a difference between hiring your buddies (i.e. Pelini) and guys that you trust and have experience coaching with. 5 Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
So Riley is just going to hire a bunch of his buddy's? Where is all the bitching and moaning? Not necessarily just a buddy hire. His qualifications make Beck look like a water boy. T_O_B 2 Quote Link to comment
macroboy
So Riley is just going to hire a bunch of his buddy's? Where is all the bitching and moaning? QB coach in the NFL kind of makes the bitching (like yours) seem silly yes? 3 Quote Link to comment
