HuskerNation1
Rivals asked him if he would be taking an OV to Nebraska and he said "nah" and hasn't answered any questions since. Hmm, that is odd. I wonder if the KW situation played into it. Of course, right now Michigan is looking really good (as is OSU), so perhaps he's basing a decision on performance on the field. huskerguy
Coach Dubb had nothing to do with it... He's cooled on Nebraska for awhile. Only chance would be s very impressive season here (division/conference title) and some of the other schools having some issues 1 Quote Link to comment

Throw in how close he is with his father, his GF and his family's relationship with a ucla staffer, it all adds up. Quote Link to comment
Atbone95
To be completely honest with you, I hope if he doesn't come here it is UM or OSU. If you guys want the SEC to fail, the B1G is the only conference capable of doing it. And a league flooded with 5 star athletes is only going to increase excitement in the conference and (SEC effect) draw other recruits here too that we will inevitably benefit off of. Cdog923
It's been UCLA for awhile; he's been using Nebraska to hang out with his friends. Quote Link to comment
Frostberg
I heard his gf is only like a freshman or sophomore. I could be wrong on that, but if that's the case, its amazing to me that she would play a factor into what school he chooses. Quote Link to comment

ADS
If you're basing your college decision on a freshman girl then you're doing it wrong. IMO 1 Quote Link to comment
gbr93
According to Tom VanHaaren (ESPN), Darnay's dad said they won't take any officials now until November. Meaning he isn't going to Michigan this weekend anymore. Michigan, Ohio St and potentially NU will get officials with Georgia and Tennessee potentially getting unofficials. Quote Link to comment
Redux
I'd say after we beat Oregon this weekend, we make a strong play for another CB. Quote Link to comment

Exactly the reason I have been telling people to pump the breaks on this kid. He likes Nebraska. Has been here many times. I think we are definitely in it until the end. Just need to let this LOOOONNNGGG process play out. Quote Link to comment
