Touchdown Tommie
I can't believe this kid doesn't have 4 or 5 stars, and more offers (although I'm sure they will come). Not only are his stats (ints, tds, CO player of the year, etc) very impressive, his film is more so. I am very, very impressed with just about everything he does, and he does it all except qb). He is one of the best recruits, in my opinion, we gotten in a while. Very happy with his commitment. Don't let the 3 stars fool you, this kid is the real deal. I expect his to start sometime his first year (if he plays lb), and make some memorable blocks on special teams. He also reads the offense very well (10 ints). What is the level of competition? I am impressed with him as well, but if he is playing against lesser opponents, who knows? Since he is all over the place, do they just not know where to place his 'stars'? I am not big into understanding the rankings so sorry for the moronic questions... Quote Link to comment
Huskball
Going to be interesting if Stanford offers...he has made it know that is one of his dream schools and they are supposed to let him know about a scholarship next week. Even if they don't offer then, if they have a couple misses, it could be JoJo watch at signing day. Quote Link to comment

Same school as Avery Anderson in case you didn't already know. http://chsaanow.com/2014-07-14/final-alignment-2014-football-season/ Some noteable schools- Pine Creek- 4A 1,467 enrollment (Domann, Anderson) Regis Jesuit- 5A 1,408 enrollment (TE Jack Stoll) *RJ plays up in classification Valor Christian- 5A 847 enrollment (2015 CB commit Eric Lee) *VC plays up in classification 1 Quote Link to comment

Husker from Kansas
Our we sure he's going to be a lb? Maybe its just me, but he reminds me a lot of Nate Gerry and looks like he'd make one heck of a safety Quote Link to comment

He's coming as a "defensive athlete" who could play OLB/Safety/Nickelback Quote Link to comment

But we're also putting together a pretty good class of LBs - plus the guys from last years' class - so he could also find a spot a Safety as well. Quote Link to comment

Warrior10 has it right, he is being recruited as a Defensive Athlete. JoJo said so in an interview this morning with Sharp and Benning today. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
It's not set in stone because he's versatile enough to play multiple positions. He plays safety now but they're expecting him to add weight and turn into an OLB. That's why Bray has been his main recruiter. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
I would like to see him at OLB, with se added weight. He has that Chris Borland playing style. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
OLB would fit Banker's philosophy of recruiting safeties to OLB, OLB to MLB, ect., ect.. 2 Quote Link to comment
