STL Husker
Probably not a smart move by the waiter regardless of who he is serving. Quote Link to comment
3rd and long
In a service or sales position, always a good idea to stay fairly neutral on a topic until you gauge how your customer feels about it. Quote Link to comment
ADS
Can't fault Brandon Reilly. I probably would've done the same exact thing. Quote Link to comment
WhatDoIKnow
I agree with the posts above. Not a great idea to basically insult a patron. Quote Link to comment

Waterloohusker26
I've left little to no tips before for sh**ty service. Take pride in your job and take care of the customer and you'll get your money Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
Doing it is fine. Putting it on twitter is dumb. 5 Quote Link to comment

I agree, but not tipping is a total bag move. I start at 20% as a guide line, if service is subpar I'll lower it accordingly, if it's better than average I'll raise it accordingly. Â I think I've not left a tip maybe twice in my life, and those were extreme circumstances, such as being personally insulted by the waiter. Hell, I've had service so bad that the manager comped the tab, yet I still tipped the server. 1 Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Zero problems with this. Tips are earned via good service. Quote Link to comment
