swmohusker
Picked a couple Miami crystal balls the last 2 days. Didn't know they were a player for him. Some guy named Mark Richt was just hired there, so things might be a bit different now. I know MR got hired. Surprising that with all the talent in the southeast belt they are recruiting a Chicago kid. Must speak to how talented this Watts kid is. Quote Link to comment

One would think that it would be easier to recruit a Chicago kid who has been more exposed to the brand than say a kid from Florida. Quote Link to comment

Clemson has a DE from Kansas Alabama has an OL from Minnesota I just don't think it matters with some kids. Quote Link to comment

Nebraska needs to pluck from the Midlands as best as possible and plunder kids from farther distances secondly. Quote Link to comment

Touchdown Tommie
Video talking about Lincoln being in the middle of corn fields via Wilbon...hope his visit changes that mentality. Side note: I hope the lady interviewing never interviews anyone ever again...horrible! 1 Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Meaning Wilbon doesn't really like it here or what are you saying? Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
Meaning Wilbon doesn't really like it here or what are you saying? Amir in the video said "Mikale Wilbon said it was really nice but its in the middle of cornfields so we'll see" Sounded like Amir was saying the corn fields thing more than Mikale Quote Link to comment
Warrior10
Always thought Miami offer would get him on spot, doesn't sound like it's the case. Location is huge to him. "Brotherhood" is big. Wilbon telling him Nebraska is real nice and even though it's in the middle of cornfields is nice. Quote Link to comment
Atbone95
Wanted to continue talking about Nebraska and she cut him off.... Quote Link to comment

huskerfan13
Confused with this one. Received some Miami predictions. But he made it very clear he wants to stay close to home....even implying that if Illinois, NW, NIU offered he would likely play there. Miami is as far away as you could go and they're the favorite? Doesn't make sense. Quote Link to comment
chamrocck
He knows about our awesome fan base. Sounds like we will get the last visit and he will do a signing day ceremony most likely. http://www.scout.com/college/football/recruiting/story/1627928-semper-fi-bowl-amir-watts-interview 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Defensive Line Chambers and Fitzgerald were great, but Amir Watts and Osa Odighizuwa also had strong days. Watts was in the backfield often today and registered a sack, while Odighizuwa is just very consistent in firing off the ball, using his hands well, and driving guards and centers back into the play. 247 Semper Fi practice report Quote Link to comment
