Guy Chamberlin
You can't coach speed. But the NFL draft boards are littered with players with great numbers at the combines who couldn't deliver on the field. Still...speed and vertical leap are an awfully nice combo for a DB. Warrior10
He was projected in rounds 3 to 5 with a chance to move up until this staff got ahold of him. Most of the struggles were caused by the leave your corners and safeties on an island approach that most college football teams abandoned 10 years ago.He was a helluva a college CB with Pelini when he had help at all times. He's gotta be able to line up man vs man with a NFL WR and win the battle. And he couldn't do it vs a college WR. Quote Link to comment
lo country
A little NFL Combine history: According to 247, Fabian Washington is tied for the 11th-fastest 40 in Combine history at 4.29. And that single event soared his draft stock. Thats fast. 1 Quote Link to comment
