Redux
Go home USC, you're drunk and nobody loves you. 1 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
USC can't do too much business in Florida, can they? I thought they only really left the West Coast for high 4* or 5* guys. Quote Link to comment
Treand3
USCs recruiting is in a bit of dysfunction...even though they'll have a nice class on paper due to being in L.A. Quote Link to comment

84HuskerLaw
Evidently, a lot of the "best" football schools just follow Nebraska coaches around and offer scholarships to those players we identify and offer. Not saying we've never offered players that others have but when we offer somebody relatively unknown or not so highly rated, then the perennial top ten types follow us, it seems somebody thinks we know what we are doing. I give our coaches a lot of credit for doing all the due dilligence and being smart, proactive and looking into the future with a clear plan in mind. The other guys are trying to catch up with us. Seems strange for a program that so many like to call a 'has been' and second tier, etc. Of course, Husker Nation knows better and those who really know college football also know Nebraska is poised to make the ascent to the elites and to its rightful place. Go Huskers and for all the recruits: just bear in mind who leads the Nation in ACADEMIC ALL AMERICANS, big stadiums filled to the top with the best fans in all of sports, and players who become part of the best sporting family in the country. There is No Place Like Nebraska! (though many will try to copy us, there can be only one!) 1 Quote Link to comment
Savage Husker
Alabama can afford to slow roll recruits, they've earned the right to do so. Quote Link to comment

Just because we get an offer into a kid before schools like Alabama doesn't mean they are offering just because we offered and vise versa. Quote Link to comment

I think schools like USC and occasionally Bama will see we offered and look at the kids video and see he does indeed have potential. In many cases he may not be their first or even a 2nd option at this point but if the kid has a great senior season they want to be able to say they offered early. Our coaches are putting in the work and finding some quality kids under the radar....many times being the 1st D1 school to offer. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
we've offered something like 250 players already including ~60% of the top 300 - odds are other top programs are going to be offering them as well. let's not act like Nebraska is "discovering" all this talent and people are riding our coat tails lol...this kid has around 20 offers. he isn't "under the radar" Quote Link to comment
