TGHusker
Nate Silver has been excellent at projecting elections. He is the first to admit, however, that he was dead wrong about Trump's chances very early in the election cycle. Who wasn't wrong!! The RNC surely didn't predict it. Most of the other candidates didn't take him seriously until the camel got fully into the tent. They thought he'd fade away after getting his 30 minutes of fame. I think Ted Cruz was purposely playing nice to him early on believing he would pick up all of Trump's supporters when he dropped out of the race. One by one, the other candidates bitterly dropped out - shaking their head at the result that this guy would beat them at their own game. I still can't believe it. Link to comment
zoogs
Allegiances? i call them as i see them, as all people should. You've spoken of going door to door for a "cause", asked people to join your "crusade", and referred to Nigel Farage's UKIP victory as "yours". So, I do think it's fair to ask what your cause is. You put in an enormous effort for this cause. Think it's fair to expect some transparency about where you're coming from. Link to comment

Red Five
Can Hillary pull an 08 Obama? 538 has Nebraska 2 at: Polls Plus :Trump 60.3% Polls Only: Trump 54.8% Now Cast: Trump 51.5% Nebraska 3 has Trump 99% in all 3 scenarios. Nebraska 1 has Trump 87% or greater in all 3 scenarios. Also, something called Google Consumer Surveys (taken between 9/27 and 10/3) had Trump +5 in the whole state. Gotta be an outlier IMO. NM11046
If that wasn't deplorable ... here's an article worth a read. A journalist who has experienced the bullying, abusive behavior from Trump supporters based on the tone he's set with this campaign and his general horribleness. http://www.newsweek.com/epileptogenic-pepe-video-507417 Link to comment

I'm not trying to poke any fun at Creighton Duke at all, but I've been thinking to myself lately, "Man, he used to be such a sarcastic and off-the-wall poster. Never really seen him be serious before..." It's all entertaining though, either way. Link to comment

Trump is corrupt without any practical govt experience and Hillary is corrupt wt her experience and uses that experience to further her corrupt activities. I would encourage liberals & Hillary supporters to consider her ills and consider voting 3rd party or write in someone like Bernie if need be. While most of the discussion, perhaps rightly so, has been on the Trump negatives, we cannot forget who Hillary is. We have 2 'deplorable' candidates. We aren't forced to vote for either one. http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/Pence-Clinton-Emails-Court-Martialed-Son/2016/10/05/id/751859/ https://www.yahoo.com/news/watchdog-group-accuses-clinton-campaign-of-election-law-violations-214054242.html 2 Link to comment
