Moiraine
Let's score 21 unanswered and take our important stat of 7-0 and forget this game ever happened. Quote Link to comment
TheMeanFarmer
And for the record, that wasn't a YOLO. That was a GREAT throw to receiver who ran a FANTASTIC route. Quote Link to comment
Huskinator
Just want to remind everyone that Maryland had 400 rushing yards on Purdue. Also much needed TD there. Good to see DPE in the end zone You can't compare them to this game. They are stacking the box and daring tommy to throw. I don't blame them. We need more play action to back them off some Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Jesus TFing Christ, about damn time. I see you are easy to appease Not appeased, just relieved that we remembered how to score. Still need to bust this open on the ground, though. Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
Defense needs a pick 6. you can bet they will continue to throw as we are not pressuring the QB and can't really stop their simply runs. Quote Link to comment
Huskinator
First down....run up the gut Second down ........run up the gut Third down........45 yard pass attempt TD to DPE! punt FIFY! I giggled Quote Link to comment
NUance
YOLO TD! Woo hoo!! We actually CAN pass the ball! I respectfully disagree. I think it was a slant and was suppose to work that way Maybe so. But it'll show up as a 40+ yard passing TD in tomorrow's stats! YOLO!! Quote Link to comment
krc1995
that'll do Your comment made me hungry for bacon. Not sure why. me either-- I didn't add the pig part because I didn't think anyone on here is old enough Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I thought that slant would be characteristic of what our receivers do routinely. Catch and run...just give them the freaking ball and end the Armstrong backfield show. I was wrong.I also thought Newby would get the occasional shovel pass....wrong again. Quote Link to comment

whateveritis1224
As someone stated last week: "The YOLO giveth....the YOLO taketh away" TD NU #YOLO Bomb definition: I think we need to define #YOLO Bombs, because people seem to think a throw that is longer than 20 yards is one. #YOLO Bombs are the ones where Tommy is rolling on the pocket, evading pressure to the side or straight back and just throwing the ball up off of his back foot to someone that is covered (by one or more defenders). It's a throw with a hope and a prayer that it falls into the hands of our receiver. Tommy's last throw of the half was not one. It was a throw that he missed the dropping LB because the LB dropped 20 something yards. Bad decision, not a #YOLO Bomb. Stanley Morgan's TD last week was a good definition of #YOLO Bomb. That sir was not a #YOLO Bomb Quote Link to comment

Huskinator
I like that it wasn't a 40 yard heave down field. Quote Link to comment
