knapplc
If you google that line all you get is Buzzfeed saying it was seen on Twitter and a lot of never-heard-of-them websites. I'd want more proof before believing that's actually a quote from her. Link to comment
StPaulHusker
I'm begging someone to please tell me this quote is not real. It's not real. It's a response to her saying Historically Black Colleges were the "pioneers" of school choice. Which in itself is just as ignorant. 2 Link to comment
BigRedBuster
The quote in my last post is also quoted in the NYT.....But.....hey....that's fake news....right? https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/28/us/politics/betsy-devos-historically-black-colleges-statement.html Link to comment
Cdog923
So, Jeff Sessions is going to jail, right? Link to comment
Enhance
I don't know - in the same day I heard the WH press secretary say Sessions had nothing to recuse himself from and now Sessions is recusing himself. Link to comment

mrandyk
Spicey lost credibility a while ago. He never had it. His introduction to the people was baffling and nothing has really changed. Link to comment
Making Chimichangas
So, Jeff Sessions is going to jail, right? He absolutely should. I don't think there's any question he lied to Congress. Will they throw him in jail? I sincerely doubt it. Link to comment
knapplc
Remember when Mitch McConnell censored Elizabeth Warren to protect Sessions? 4 Link to comment
NM11046
I think there are two nominated and pending ... both waiting to be scheduled (by the GOP) because they have not turned in their paperwork. Perdue and then Acosta (recently named when the first pulled out). Honestly I think this shows how uninvolved he is in nominations and decisions. 1 Link to comment
NM11046
I was a little wrong - it's actually TRUMP who has not sent paperwork to the Senate. What a jokester. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2017/03/03/trump-is-blaming-the-democrats-for-cabinet-delays-that-are-normal-and-his-own-fault/?tid=sm_tw&utm_term=.5bcdd423f4d5 Link to comment
