Nebfanatic
Wonder if Lee or O'Brien would throw to these guys?? Are they allowed to? I doubt that is allowed at the NFL combine but it wouldn't matter there will be plenty of arm talent there to throw him the ball. Now at a pro day I'm sure that is a likely thing to happen Quote Link to comment
Minnesota_husker
Did someone say they needed a below average magical quarterback at the pro day? 3 Quote Link to comment

Big Red 40
Just more evidence of how bare Pelini left the cupboard for Riley. Nine wins with such a lack of talent is pretty impressive. Only one year since 2004 have we had more draft picks than we had last year. Which would include all Callahan's classes. But whatever makes you feel better. talent is also relative thing. Some of the best players we've had here didn't make it in the NFL and vice versa Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
Today I learned that missing 3 games in 4 years due to injury means you're injury prone. I'll state this much: This season, I definitely wondered after every tackle whether or not he was gonna stay in the game. He may not have missed games, but he noticeably came off the field a lot this season; "a lot" meaning that I (and apparently others) noticed. Not trying to knock the guy, just stating what I saw. A lot of this is getting hung out to dry by your QB so you can't protect yourself. That's a noticable difference from a lot of guys. 1 Quote Link to comment

Not saying he won't be successful, but getting hung out to dry may not change. Injuries may not either. Quote Link to comment
famoustitles
Alonzo Moore is a player who I expect to get picked up after the draft and given a chance to make a team. Had a really strong 1st half of the season then disappeared because of injuries Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
I bet we will be surprised. Quote Link to comment
ZRod
Brandon Reilly was in and out of games just as much as Westy. After every big catch Reilly looked like he might be done for the game. Jordan is tough as nails, yeah he was dinged up a lot, but he almost always came back. Find me another guy who wasn't scared to go over the middle and make the catch and pop right up. 1 Quote Link to comment
Making Chimichangas
I think Nate Gerry, Cethan Carter, Jordan Westerkamp, and Kevin Maurice all have the potential to be drafted. Where and when? No idea. Quote Link to comment
DrunkOffPunch
I don't know much about draft stock by position but I assume safety is rather low in that respect? Any chatter among the talking heads about Gerry? Pros/cons or anything? Quote Link to comment
BaytownHusker
Another player I thought Rileys staff developed well is Brandon Reilly Where did he show development other then the bowl game. I was hoping for that dude to have a big year and it didn't happen. He was hurt just as much if not more then Westy. Quote Link to comment
