Wonder if Lee or O'Brien would throw to these guys?? Are they allowed to?

I doubt that is allowed at the NFL combine but it wouldn't matter there will be plenty of arm talent there to throw him the ball. Now at a pro day I'm sure that is a likely thing to happen
Yeah I more meant for the pro day. I thought you could get anyone to throw to you but wasn't sure

Just more evidence of how bare Pelini left the cupboard for Riley. Nine wins with such a lack of talent is pretty impressive.

Only one year since 2004 have we had more draft picks than we had last year. Which would include all Callahan's classes.

But whatever makes you feel better.

talent is also relative thing. Some of the best players we've had here didn't make it in the NFL and vice versa

Today I learned that missing 3 games in 4 years due to injury means you're injury prone.

I'll state this much: This season, I definitely wondered after every tackle whether or not he was gonna stay in the game. He may not have missed games, but he noticeably came off the field a lot this season; "a lot" meaning that I (and apparently others) noticed.

Not trying to knock the guy, just stating what I saw.

A lot of this is getting hung out to dry by your QB so you can't protect yourself. That's a noticable difference from a lot of guys.

Probably a lot of QBs in the league that'll leave receivers out to dry too.. except you get hit a lot harder. Not saying he won't be successful, but getting hung out to dry may not change. Injuries may not either.

Brandon Reilly was in and out of games just as much as Westy. After every big catch Reilly looked like he might be done for the game. Jordan is tough as nails, yeah he was dinged up a lot, but he almost always came back. Find me another guy who wasn't scared to go over the middle and make the catch and pop right up.
