So while you know it's in your interest to allow millions of illegal democrats to come in, they could only gaze upon whatever government employees were going through the motions to protect the border. And obviously detrimental for the health of our politics and the rest of us in general. What makes this bad is Lowry and the National Review purport to be the intellectual wing of the movement. knapplc Posted October 26, 2020 Share Posted October 26, 2020 For all the complaints about "the liberal press" or the "MSM" we see from our more conservative friends, this is a great example that not only is the press not liberal, they are deferential to a fault to trump. Only recently, since we've seen interviews from foreign journalists with our politicians, are people waking up to the idea that it doesn't have to be this way. The press coddled and cajoled trump in 2016, the deferred to him through four years in the White House, and to this day they're not holding him to simple journalistic standards. 1 1 Link to comment
