Positives from this season

Recommended Posts

I was listening to one of the love sports station and he had a segment on good things, even surprising things that have happened this season. So I thought Ineoukd start this since we're all so down in the dumps about how bad the season appears.  Here are my positives:

>Spielman (sp?)  is a beast!  I love watching this kid play!

>The re-emergence of Divine Ozigbo. The guy is like a plow! So good to see him back!

>Caleb Lightbourn-Wow.  He is the most improved player!  Think of what he did last year compared with thus year? Amazing

>Our boys won't quit-Even though they get pounded they still stay til the end.

>We have a veteran AD who I hope will make some excellent decisions for our future. (Come home Scott! Nebraska is a great place to raise your new family!)

>Nebraska is still a respected program. I heard one announcer say during the tOSU game that college football is a better game when Nebraska is winning and that he. was looking forward to them getting back to being a winning team.  GBR!

What are your positives for this season?

Hard to agree with this when they essentially didn't show up for the Ohio State game

One of the biggest positives is Lindsey getting on the field every game. Smaller guy, but he plays much bigger than his size. This year on the field only makes him that much better next season. By his senior year, he very well may be one of the top specialists in college football.

I think these last 3 games Lee has played like the QB we all expected. I think if we had those level of performances against Oregon and Northern Illinois, games would've been much different.

I also think the o-line has shown good overall improvement as well the past few games, looked good running the ball against Wiscy and held up decent against Ohio St pass rush.

I think there has been some good development of players and building of some depth on the defensive side of the ball, at safety and on the d line especially.

Granted, these things haven't changed the outcomes of the games but I think they're all good signs for the future.

We POSITIVELY suck. Does that count?

This reminds me of when my girls were young and would argue with each other. I would sit them down on the top step of the stairs and to,d them they couldn't get up until they apologized to each other. My oldest pipes up and says, 'I'm SORRY that she is such a brat!'  And no, it doesn't count.

We have Ladyhawke posting on the board.

We have great announcers for all the sports.

The field staff is second to none.

The new downtown improvements make it a great experience no matter what happens.
