BigRedBuster
This is going to be really frustrating if he doesn't make it to campus. He is a kid I'm excited to see play here. Quote Link to comment

SouthLincoln Husker
HS signing period ends today, but Jucos can sign all the way through Jan. 15th! Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
Jan 7th is last to register for classes, so he has a few days to get everything straight, signed & registered. Quote Link to comment

Not exactly sure what the hold up is at this point. Even though classes start Jan 7 he has up until Jan 15th to sign and then he could enroll in June similar to Woodyard last year. Article said Nebraska still expects both Mills and Bland to sign. 1 Quote Link to comment

I'll say this though, about backs getting the tough yards: Washington can and will get much better at this. He's still running like he did in high school...around people. The staff wants backs to make a cut, get upfield, and then elude defenders. Washington will learn that by doing that and setting up angles he'll be even more effective at beating defenders. His late start and some nagging injuries set him back some, but he still had a promising season. A full offseason with the coaching and training staffs and he's going to be a monster next year.
