It is odd though because some position groups are definitely in alphabetical order but some aren't and seem to be more of a depth chart. QB and ILB seem to be the outliers with the rest of the groups going strictly by alphabetical order Edit: also the specialists are not alphabetical. Not to read too much into that but its interesting. Young is at the top of the ILB chart then the rest is alphabetical and then same with Gebbia and the QB chart Quote Link to comment

No rhyme or reason to the order. Quote Link to comment

Idk man the more I look at it, it is all in alphabetical except for Gebbia, Young II, Pickering and Lightbourne who are all at the top of their respective groups which then follow alphabetical order. There may be no reason for this but I wouldn't say there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the order. Its in alphabetical order. Edit: im just sayin, out of 109 players on the list 105 are listed alphabetically and 4 are not. Nothing more than interesting. 1 Quote Link to comment

Definitely a roster not a depth chart They did this on purpose to create a bit of controversy. It deflects from the real fall camp controversy: Area codes on helmets! 3 Quote Link to comment

This does not matter. I think the only way Gebbia starts is if Martinez hasn’t developed or is injured. if the “race” is close. You give it to the guy with better physical skills/measurable. The only way physical skills/measurable don’t come into play here is if the mental part is completely lopsided. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
Martinez's running ability captured our minds in the spring game but that should be taken with a grain of salt. It was a spring game where QBs were protected... Things can change when the green jersey's come off. I think it's crazy but I get the feeling a good portion of the fan base will be disappointed if Gebbia starts. I'm going to sit back and trust the coaches... if they put him in the number 1 spot it's for good reason imo. 5 Quote Link to comment

I wont be surprised if by the middle of the season he isn't starting, then again I wont be surprised if he is still starting either. 2 Quote Link to comment

Maybe it is misdirection by the coaches... Maybe they did that so that we would think that and in reality... Maybe... haha...I'm just messing around. That's the first thing I noticed also. Danimal
Noticed King and Alexander weren't on there, hopefully they have taken the "retirement scholarship" we can offer this year and it just hasn't been announced yet. This golden-parachute option is a huge opportunity to jettison dead weight off the football scholarship roles while still setting those kids up for their future. 1 Quote Link to comment
