So you didn't make the point it was handled in a hamfisted manner? What then are you basing your opinion on? It sure isn't based on correctly applying Frost's comments or the quoted article. If it's a legitimate disability or reading comprehension issue, I apologize for pointing out the deficiency. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

If it's a legitimate disability or reading comprehension issue, I apologize for pointing out the deficiency. I am basing my opinion the facts that we know. Maurice Washington sent a video of an alleged assault to the victim to get back at her because she didn’t want to hook up with him. Because of that, he’s been charged with a felony. I don’t think he should play. You clearly do think he should play. Frost decided to do both. Yes, I find that ham fisted. 1 Quote Link to comment

What happened to Brenda is terrible and I can understand where her resentment on a situation like this is coming from but she, like a lot of people, are making assumptions based on what seem to me to be partial facts. It's not a simple black and white situation. 1 Quote Link to comment

Don't see any place where JJ sker clearly states Mo should play. A one half suspension is a decision not a compromise. They didn't rule out further punishment. He has played an entire season already since the incident, people don't seem to care about that. Holding him out until the case is resolved wouldn't happen at any other school. Maybe a longer punishment but I doubt it. Coaches have the ability to look at the situation for what it is instead of blindly reacting to felony charges. I don't agree with the half game suspension, but at the same time I'm not going to rip Frost for it. He know far more than any of us about the situation. 1 Quote Link to comment
30-50 Feral Hogs
I'm genuinely curious what could be worse than facing felony charges that the other two players were suspended indefinitely without any finding of guilt in a court of law. 1 Quote Link to comment

Take the law out of it and look at the two incidents side by side. We don't know what happened with Legrone and Hunt but the words felony and child pornography greatly skew what Maurice did even if that is technically what it is in the eyes of the law. I can think of many things worse than Maurices incident. 1 Quote Link to comment

This is purely speculation but it is completely possible with the Title IX rumors that they did something as bad as sexual assualt. It can take time before charges are brought with stuff like that. Again that is one potential scenario that could be worse but I'm not saying that is what is going on. 1 Quote Link to comment

Maybe campus and Lincoln police are working through the allegations against Legrone and Hunt to determine if charges should be filed. 1 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Mo's preliminary hearing was continued once again, until October 17th. I now expect Mo to play the remainder of the season. Quote Link to comment

Not trying to be argumentative here but if they were suspended indefinitely BEFORE charges should be filed, what's the defense of Washington still playing AFTER charges were filed? 1 Quote Link to comment
