knapplc
Per Isms on Reddit: Quote This would now make four years in a row in which Cam has broken a bone in his lower extremities. 2019 - Broken Foot 2018 - Broken Foot 2017 - Broken Fibula 2016 - Broken Ankle Also from another redditor: "That dude is 50% muscle, 50% glass." 2 Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
He was 250 as a Sr. in HS & 270 last year. Quote Link to comment
10_point_buck
I’d say bad genetics or something fishy in his bone development, like it is not hardening like it should. Quote Link to comment
RedSavage
Really hope he doesn't turn into a guy that has a ton of talent that we never get to see bc he can't stay healthy Quote Link to comment

BIG ERN
Cam might not fit into this category but I've seen many many times colleges trying to put on too much weight/mass and it usually damges the knees and feet. Quote Link to comment

I don't know much about the physiology of putting on big muscle, but I could conceive that a kid could put on too much weight too fast and break bones in his lower extremities as a result. Are you saying it's unlikely that he put on so much weight so fast if he's injured so often? I could see that, too. Quote Link to comment

I don’t see it here with injuries accruing over the years. Reminder, this hasn’t been confirmed yet by Frost. Maybe Tuesday. Quote Link to comment

I believe he’s saying since he’s broken a bone in the same area each of the last 4 years, it’s doubtful that this last injury is related to weight gain, unless he gained lots of weight every year for the past 4 years. Also, if it’s true that he went from 250 to 270 from Sr year to last year, that doesn’t seem like an enormous jump. Dunno what he is now though, but even if it’s 310, the previous argument still stands. 1 Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
I'm going to chalk it up as bad luck. We have one of the best S&C departments in the country along with the best Sport Nutritionist in the country and we want to chalk it up to him getting to big, to fast. I find that hard to believe. 2 3 Quote Link to comment
Ulty
Probably because of the bare footed weight lifting that we have been seeing in the photos. Half the team will have broken feet by the time August rolls around. 1 Quote Link to comment
