Popular Post runningblind
I'm gonna vent for a second... If you think for a second that: 1. Masks don't work. 2. This thing can't be controlled. You just don't want to hear facts. Japan has 1/3 the population in 1/25th the space. Think about that! How???? Magic? No, people wear MASKS and aren't selfish. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ What does this have to do with football? Well come later this week the B1G may recommend a 10 game conference only schedule, start practicing and then maybe be forced to postpone or cancel the season because some people can't be bothered to think critically or take two seconds to think about someone else. It is going to cost us all at least some, if not all, college football in 2020. 7 4 1 1 Quote Link to comment

South Korea has had less than 300 covid deaths, we've had 134,000 - both of our first cases of Covid were diagnosed the same day. The people refusing to wear masks and social distance act like they just want normalcy, but they're the ones hindering normalcy the most. The science is out there. The evidence is out there. 5 1 1 2 Quote Link to comment

swmohusker
Well in HS here we are having full contact 2.5 hour practices in a covid hotspot. Youth sports are all in full effect. Crazy the lower the level the less regulated it is. I think P5 will have a hodgepodge season to try and make some money. I could see with the no non conference games plan for P5, that the fcs and D2 programs could delay starting until February or so. It would be kind of cool to give them the spotlight and possibly have live football on for most of the year. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, but they don't have people that NEED to hit the beach and applebee's and peacefully protest! That s#!t is important right now! 2 1 Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
So, for the State of NY, our Governor just announced that our malls in upstate NY (not the City) can reopen next week, provided the ventilation systems for the bldgs are fitted with special filters that stop the virus. Apparently there are such filters and have been for some time. Questions that follow are: 1. Why have they not been used all along? 2. Why dont other facilities such as Walmarts, Targets, Lowes, etc as well as factories, plants, stores, C stores, hardwares, schools, etc not being required to do so? 3. Where has Dr Fauci been on this simple fix? 4. If it takes specially made filters just to clean up the vent air flows, how are simple cloth face masks going to work evetywhere but malls with large open passageways etc? 1 Quote Link to comment

I heard he’s been working on the HVAC units in Florida, once he’s done there he can work on installations in upstate NY. Remember that’s a lot of filters for one man to install. 2 6 Quote Link to comment

Much smaller units that fit around the face. Very effective. 5 Quote Link to comment
