Moiraine
Speaking of Georgia, if I'm remembering quickly they were going to have polling places on campus, I think either the basketball court or football stadium. Then they shut it down supposedly due to Covid concerns. But Occam's razor says they were hoping fewer people in a liberal city would vote. 3 Link to comment

Why wouldn't they help down ballot Dems. If you took a look at ballot totals for the state, I may even venture to guess that there would be less votes tabulated for the presidential candidates than for senate candidates. My wife, who is an staunch republican, chose not to vote on the presidential section. Thus one less presidential vote compared to the senate vote totals. 2 Link to comment

TGHusker
https://www.the-sun.com/news/1753300/biden-address-nation-verge-election-win-trump/ Quote A win in the Keystone State would see Biden sail past the 270-threshold needed to win the electoral college and take the presidency. Currently he is just 17 votes away from becoming the President-elect. But Philadelphia City Commissioner's office said today there are still an estimated 40,000 ballots yet to be counted. One official added: "it may take several days to complete the reporting of that." Quote "Georgia is headed for a recount, where we are confident we will find ballots improperly harvested, and where President Trump will ultimately prevail." Brad Raffensperger, Georgia Secretary of State, announced Friday: "Georgia still too close to call, but results will be very close, and there will be a recount. Promises transparency." Sources said Trump would refuse to concede – even if Biden was declared the winner – and his son Don Jr urged him to “go to war” over the result. But Andrew Bates, a senior member of Biden's team, hit back: "As we said on July 19th, the American people will decide this election. "And the United States government is perfectly capable of escorting trespassers out of the White House." Link to comment
