Huskr25
Every f'ing year... Happens to every team. Hence, why you need strong depth. Injuries happen yes but not to your best player every year. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
Bring back Frank. Remove the curse.......Every mother clucking year......One of the better secondaries to one, that well, might be less than average.... Quote Link to comment
MyBloodIsRed16
Next man up. On the bright side this didnt happen in a game which would have more of a psychological effect on the team than it does now. Plenty of time to get his replacement ready to go Quote Link to comment

RedDenver
And if we were thin at cb we moved a returning starter because..... Because the team was better with Kalu at safety? If the injury had instead been at safety, does the coach staff suddenly become geniuses? 2 Quote Link to comment
Huskerzoo
I think this hurts us most at the Northwestern game. We're arguably still a year or so away from competing with tOSU and Penn State. The other teams on our schedule don't especially scare me through the air. NW seems like the game this has the most potential to impact. Quote Link to comment
Caliborn72
I agree with that for the most part^ But now Oregon is back to scaring me. Need to be able to trust our corners on islands in a matchup like that, even without Carrington. Herbert/Freeman could have a lot of free space now that Jones won't be locking down 1/3 of the field in that game. Most importantly though, I am hoping for a full recovery for Jones. Nebfanatic
Even if Blades were to make it he would likely have to take a redshirt to get his grades right I believe so I don't think he would help us much on the field Quote Link to comment
