Positions rumored to be filled so far: OL coach, DC, LB coach, and Special Teams coach. So that leaves DB, OC, DL, RB, and WR. So question: If Riley were to retain Warren, Kaz, Brown, and Fisher and get a new OC, are you happy? yes or no?

Wow, thanks Landlord for the Iowa game highlights, great job! But after watching that, all my thoughts from the season are coming back to me, and here's my take on our situation: We've got some talented players on this team with a lot of heart. An attacking scheme on defense and a competent offensive gameplan with QB development may be just what the doctor ordered. I anticipate that the kool-aid will be awfully sweet by September.

Just watched 2008 Oregon St highlights when they upset #1 USC. Defense was attacking, OL plowed through USC's front 4, and Rodgers brothers were obviously highlighted in the offensive plan. I'm optimistic about the look of our offense going forward. Time will tell.

Josh Harvey @JoshHarveyScout · 14m 14 minutes ago Asked #Huskers commit @DaishonNeal90 2night if Coach Banker said what he would be coaching at #Nebraska. “I believe he introduced himself as d-line, but I couldn’t hear him correctly because I was in the gym working out."

So looks like Michael Rose's dad hated Bo's defensive scheme. Loves the scheme Banker will bring and says it's just like Mich St's. Awesome.

I'm really hoping for the Music City Bowl so I can drive to it with a bunch of buddies.

From everything I'm reading about Riley, I'm pretty pumped. He should fit in really well here. Now go get Frost and Orgeron!!!

I leave my computer for 3 hours and come back to a sh*tstorm about d-bag Bielema as head coach. WTF. Glad that went away quick.

Robin Washut @RobinWashut 2m2 minutes ago #Huskers RT @FootballScoop: Sources: Nebraska seems locked in http://footballscoop.com/news/sources-nebraska-seems-locked/ …

lol Kansas. Interviewing our coach that was so bad he cost our head coach his job... HAHAHA!
-
Maybe true, maybe not: through the grapevine that a real estate agent in Lincoln apparently just sold Scott Frost a house. Take it w/ a grain of salt.
-
I fully expect people to laugh at me for this, but I've been seriously thinking about taking a road trip to watch our bowl game, depending on when and where it is. Go ahead and laugh.

HC - Tressel, OC - Frost, DC - Narduzzi, retain Brown, Kaz, and Warren, potentially Fisher also. It would be Christmas come early.
-
Exciting times. Eichorst had better knock it out of the park with this hire and do it quick. New guy also had better think long and hard about keeping Kaz, Warren, and Brown. Gotta keep all the current players and commits we can.

Mike Welch @RealMikeWelch 25m25 minutes ago Nebraska came back on Iowa w/ plays you used to run at recess. Shows how good #Huskers could be if they implemented a smart offense.
-
TCU got a new OC in the off-season, and look at them now.
-
The question becomes "Will we have to wait till after the bowl game or after signing day to get a new OC?"
-
Defense is doing all they can. Let's hope we can find a new OC during halftime. If the offense keeps leaving the defense on the field all game, by the end we will be getting gashed. Gotta score points.
-
For the love of God, please don't lose to Iowa 2 years in a row....
-
I will never root against Nebraska, but it's probably best if we lose next week, clean house (coaches), and move on to a new era, because this is not working.
-
WTF... Defense looked like crap, but the offense can't score 3 points in the 2nd half and expect to win. Bring in an OC who isn't a complete f*cktard and we're a significantly better team.
-
I've always wondered, why don't we ever try going with all-red jerseys (other than the alternates)? Would that be too much or what?...
-
I can't believe Gameday is actually ragging on the SEC for their crap non-conference opponents today. #mindblown

I finally watched the game last night, and here's my take: All the criticisms about the defensive scheme are warranted, and that one is easy to nitpick. But what's more troubling to me is the lack of anything productive from our offense. There are so many moving parts with this offense, and that's where there is a lot of inconsistency. Simpler is better. After this season, Beck can take a hike because he's proved that he has no clue and no ability to develop our QBs. Tommy is...

Gosh dang it, I haven't watched the game yet, and I love Bo Pelini as a person, but I'm tired of flirting with success just to watch the team fold when it matters. It would be awfully tough to fire a coach who wins 9 or 10 games in a regular season, but it's probably time to move on... If the team is able to win the next 2 games, I want Bo to stay with the contingency that he does a major overhaul on his coaching staff.
