Lacey Holsworth, the young cancer victim who was befriended by Adrien Payne of MSU has died sadly. Prayers and comfort to her family and friends and thank you AP for involving yourself in her life.

Easy come easy go. It was a fun 48 hour love affair but we both knew it couldn't last. Enjoy Spurrier.

It would appear that the foul situation in college basketball is back the was it has been in years past. Watched a game today and the refs were letting the kids play and the Louisville/UConn game tonight seems about right. Except for the no call on the Lville kid that got the UConn coach ejected.

Thinking of all the native Texans who have been great at quarterbacking for schools outside of the state of Texas the last 4 or 5 years, it is amazing that there hasn't been a good one play for the Longhorns recently. And we think we've had Qb issues!s

Your favorite "Charlies Angel"? Kate Jackson, Farah Faucett, Jaclyn Smith, or Cheryl Ladd? For me it has to be Jaclyn Smith followed closely by Cheryl Ladd.

Guess which ref crew is doing the Big 12 game today? One we all know and love! Up yours Mr. Burke.

I almost want to see OSU get to the Natty just so someone will knock Braxton Miller on his keester over and over again. r

Argument with my son tonight. The discussion was if Westy had caught the ball before it crossed the endzone but his feet had stayed in the endzone when he came down would it still be a TD? I know Westy did reach back with the ball to make sure but if he had been tackled with his feet in the endzone but the ball out of the endzone would it still be 6? I say no, son says yes.Discuss.

What shyndy is saying is if you catch a ball on the sidelines, the ball can be two yards out of bounds (in the air) and as long as you can snag it while keeping your feet in bounds it's a catch. Not sure why the same wouldn't be said for TD's. It's the same for the back of the end zone- if the balls out the back, the receiver jumps and grabs it, as long as he comes down with two feet in it's a TD?

Rusillo and Kanal on ESPN both stating they think Nebraska should be rated. It might be hard to do till a few teams in the 15-25 rank lose.

Former Huskers. You keep making us so proud!

Tooth abcess! Why do you have to show up this weekend. A wedding to go to and grandkids to play with!

Just finished licensing a vehicle I purchased and had to get plates. I told the lady I wanted something easy to remember. She came back with BY5. Huskers tomorrow by 5!

Love the new Fiat commercial. "The Italians are coming!"

George Sauer Jr passed away yesterday. He was one of Joe Namath's fav receivers on the 69 Super Bowl team but retired in 71 at age 27. His father grew up in southeast Nebraska and played at Nebraska in the 30's. If I remember correctly George Jr played for Alabama against Nebraska in the Sugar Bowl

A Houston Texas high school 4 x 100 relay team that won it's district race to qualify for the state meet was disqualified when one of the runners looked skyward and pointed to the heavens after winning.

It would appear the LA NBA franchises are having a really bad year. Lakers went home early and the Clippers are down 3-2 with one of their stars hobbled.

Michigan will lose this game for the same reason the Fab 5 lost....youth.

CBS....can you please just retire Clark Kellogg. There are a number of guys who do such a better job.

One thing about college and pro basketball I'd like to change. I see a lot of guards dribbling with a defender along side. The defender is making minimal contact but as they get close to the rim the dribbler suddenly collides with the defender....sing him as a brake then shoots a short jumper. The foul is called 99% of the time against the defender when he didn't initiate the contact. Even though he is still moving that space he occupies should be his and not the dribbler.

73 year old Chuck Norris shaved his beard. I'm wondering if a razor company paid to use this in a commercial. If so that should be worth half a mil.

It isn't hard to see why the Huskers have to recruit out of state. I watched at least some of all the state tournament games today. Outside of Central there were few players who looked capable of playing even NAIA. Hard to find a guard who could create anything on his own. Very few "bigs" and they looked very green.

No private schools in the finals of the Nebraska Boys Basketball Tourney. I don't remember that ever happening.

Is there anything worse than Nebraska High School Girls Basketball?
