We're the greatest team. We really whooped them the other day. They couldn't run the ball on us. Conversely. The team really sucked last week. They couldn't do anything. I wouldn't give you a plug nickel for those guys.

That's just the way it works. When it's good it's all we and us. When it's bad it's them and the team.

Makes perfect sense to use "we" and "us" when describing our team. It's also a shorter word than spelling cornhuskers

Unless your a hard core waterfowl or coyote hunter a 20 is all you need.

TCU's D was awful vs Baylor. They also had a poor showing vs Kansas. They are clearly a worthy team though. Baylors D is pretty questionable all around.

@Jarvis - TCU Baylor is an old rivalry. Even when Huskers were better than CU they still had trouble. Everyone understands Rivalry games, I hope.

1s are throw-away, 2s are nearly so. You get four 3s and you've covered your 1s, four sixes and you've covered your 2s. That gives you leeway to shoot big on 4 of a kind, large straight, small straight, and Yahtzee.

I save my 1's for when I don't get my large straight after already claiming my small straight. The only time I ever go out of my way to score 4 or a kind is if I hit 29 (four 6s, one 5). I typically save it for last as a throw away.

I respectfully disagree. This year was an unfortunate anomaly but i believe bama is the best team in the country. It would have been so nice in Wisconsin would have just one and kept them out but alas. 

So you believe the best team in the country is a team that couldn't even win their own conference? IMO the thing that needs to change is this idea of there being a "best" team and let actual game results speak for themselves. If regular season and conference games don't mean anything, let's just quit playing them.

The Roman Reigns part: very cherry picked.  The footage they show, is from the night after WrestleMania 33.  The RAW after Mania is ALWAYS a raucous scene.  This night in particular, Roman had just "retired" The Undertaker less than 24 hours before.  Of course the crowd was out of their minds, the Undertaker is a living legend (also didn't retire). But yes, they did hate him very much because he was shoved down their throats.  Much like John Cena before him without the steallar mic work hence why it took beating LEUKEMIA for Roman to finally get over with the crowd.

Okay just finished it.  The last bit, this is an insanely difficult profession on your body.  Like Piper says, no exit strategy just like rock stars.  You have nothing after most the time.

But they all know this going in.  The smart ones who make it on the bigger stage, think long term and find positions in the company behind the scenes or like DDP made a Yoga empire.  These people die and have health problems because the things they do weren't meant to be done.  But again, they know this going in.

Overall it touches on a very serious and complicated subject, one that is being changed as we speak.  Maybe not as quickly as we would like.  Even with health coverage and medical bills being taken care of, by 60yrs old the tole has been taken on their bodies.  You only get one and they give out.  But, they know this going in.

@Redux (Abridged) story about canned chicken. My wife wanted to make a few casserole meals for a friend a few weeks ago - one of them was a spicy cajun chicken pasta. She bought the basic Kroger's canned chicken because they eat that a lot and we knew they wouldn't notice if we had spent $15-$20 on real chicken breast or $6 on the canned stuff.

Anyways, I had to leave the room when we cracked open the first can. I don't know what that smell was but it wasn't chicken.
