I'm with Tony. I'm worried about the schools that are busing kids to places to see it. I fear for the kids who are the victim of other kids who think its funny to knock off their glasses.

I'll check it out.  I wasn't a huge fan, but I liked them enough to pay money to go see them.

Yea, not everyone's cup of tea, some of it is not just dark but just depressing, then again, some rocks, some is powerful, some electronica, some avant-garde and some is funky, real mixed bag. That Austin show, has a bit of everything and he has a couple female backup vocals that give the music a different vibe.

If you liked the song cars, this is a really cool on stage cam performance with Gary Newman.

I saw NIN back when Closer To God was a big hit.  Great show actually.  I'll be seeing them again in a few weeks here at Riot Fest.  Not sure what that will be like.

I have seen they play for around 3 hours. Although I heard a live concert on XM the other day and Axl sounds like he lost his fastball. We get the Deftones opening.

The friends we are going with have been listening to concerts on XM as well. They said the same thing about Axl. It still should be a fun show though.

Saw then last year for their first show on the US tour in Detroit. They were awesome! Slash crushed it, Axel (will pudgier) still can bring the attitude.

I feel like there's a joke in there somewhere about injuring a wrist swinging at slow pitch ....

There are some nasty injuries in slow pitch. Generally less athletic people trying to make specialized athletic movements doesn't end well at times.

Well technically it's not "more guns" it's the same amount of guns but freely carried into places where you can defend yourself that are typically the places that get shot up.

First, it is more guns. Second, it's more guns in an environment that previously had fewer guns, as you just pointed out.

I look at it as there's an incident rate with guns, and so gun incidence is likely to increase. You are arguing that the real model is that the more guns are in an environment, the ... fewer shootings there will be?

It's interesting logic, I'll admit.
