@ZRod I think it was about 5.5 hours. The thermometers on my home built smoker aren’t very reliable but I think the smoker temp was kept about 180 to 200. For Christmas I got a Thermopen MK4 thermometer. That thing is the sh#t, I can’t recommend it highly enough. Instant read and 1/2 a degree accuracy. I’ve been relying on it and pretty much ignoring cook time. 130 and it was medium rare. It’s really handy for cooking chicken since getting it to 170 is critical for food safety. No more dried out over cooked chicken or pink that needs to go back. I still prefer eating undercooked medium hamburgers but my wife has to have hers done so it’s handy for grilling just about everthing. I learned about them on AmazingRibs.com. Everyone should have one.

There's a light rail station about 6 blocks from our hotel. But I don't think we'll make it before they shut the system down for the parade. I'm really heartbroken

I hear your frustration.  But glad we got the games because otherwise we would know nothing and be like having our heads in the sand.  Right now we know a lot.  Completely sucks but we know quite a bit.

There was a point in time a few years ago where the 2012 B1G Championship game was one of those "Classics," and they played it on repeat all the time.

Maybe they don't have access to any of the games when we were good but it annoys me that they blindly pick a few games we didn't totally suck and call them classics. The Foster Farms bowl....c'mon.

Currently we only get a loop of NW Hail Mary, Foster Farms and Georgia-Nebr Bowl game.  They used to show the win over OSU in Lincoln but the Buckeyes must have objected.

That was pretty much my point dudeguyy. Maybe it's just that I'm not yet ready to write this season off as just another wasted year but I'm not going for the pitchforks until it can't be avoided. Arky State played plenty well enough (and I don't care what conference they hail from-that was a good team) that I just can't turn to the dark side yet. It sure didn't take long for some others though. I may be there in a few weeks, who knows.

Arky State had a pretty decent offense, a simple scheme that they ran very well. OTOH, our defense played its first game as in the 3-4. They bent but didn't break. More points than I cared for but 7 of those were on the special teams. They do need to tighten that up, btw.

Time to take a breath and see what they do against Oregon.

Once again, it's not about being insecure or worried about what others may think, imo. It's just about common decency and not being a dick. Nebraska hired their whole coaching staff against their druthers. That's our only contribution (if you can call it that) to their success. How anybody thinks that gives NU fans any business showing up and stealing any of their thunder is beyond my ability to comprehend. Cheer for 'em, support 'em, whatever but we don't need 15k showing up in Husker attire or doing the inevitable GBR chant. If our team was worth a sh#t we'd have our own bowl game to worry about. We weren't and we don't. The Peach bowl is UCF vs Auburn, Nebraska has nothing to do with it.

@Melby @Savage Husker it’s more about not being jackasses. Nebraska has done nothing to warrant any sort of attention during the Peach Bowl. I get it, everyone is thirsty for the attention, but there’s a time and place for that. Don’t act like the 5 year old excited to show off your new toy. If the shoe was on the other foot you’d be pissed. To quote Melby from a couple of weeks ago. 

I don’t see it as this broad stroke that if you wear anything Husker down there that they’re automatically dicks. Who cares. People can still root for UCF without being jackals and cheering anything “GBR.” And yeah, that would be foolish and obnoxious. I’ve said before, I still think it sucks that Van Horn left, but even at the time I was never bitter and the decision made sense. I grew up an hour away from idolizing Griffey in the Kingdome just for him to leave for Cincy after Safeco was built for him. It sucked, but we still rooted for him and were never bitter at Cincy fans. 16 years later, my mariners friends and I shared beers with Reds fans in Cooperstown appreciating his greatness. It’s life, players and coaches come and go every year.

It was 8 weeks straight and 3 hard losses against legit teams.  This was fatigue.  And a terrible kicker.  Get an O Line, this team wins all their games this year 

There always needs to be “ifs” or excuses for this team to explain how they’re going to or should’ve won. Sick of it.

Watched USA vs Mongolia womens 3x3 basketball this morning. Myself and any two neighbors from the cul de sac would destroy Mongolia and probably give the US a run for their money. It was so sad.

Was it better than men’s basketball?  Pathetic showing.  

Can't wait til they add Nathan's hot dog contest, and Kimchi.  Maybe in a few more years.

Rona was just the start.    this year has even more crazy ready for us then we could have imagined last year.

Well, I guess 2020 was good for one thing. It made today seem not quite as strange as it should have. On second thought, I guess that's not a good thing.
