Count- I am focusing on the future players now. Hoping the situation will be better for them. When removing the bandaid, it's best to tear it off quick. Sure it stings but it's not a prolonged pain.

Next time I will do I t exactly like the directions (maybe even 5 degrees less) and then make sure to carve it right away. That rest time let it creep up another 10 degrees to about 140-145. Still edible but I like it more rare. Never tried indirect cooking on on a gas grill before. Easy peasy and didn't heat up the house from the oven. Will definitely be doing it that way again.

I'm glad it turned out well. I used that recipe the first time I ever did a Prime Rib and it was great. Bookmark that site and use it for everything grill-related. Those guys are the best, and they are really good about answering questions.

It might football season before I'm ready for ribeyes or prime rib again. Grilled ribeye steaks last night and did the roast this afternoon. Might have to stick to salad and fish for awhile. Ha. But I still have 3 more steaks and all the lip trimmings to do from that whole ribeye roll I bought....
