He did crush AA. I think the Royals might have moved him up too fast, but it all worked out in the end. 2011-2016 was a fun time. 

@krc1995 the Royals probably did move Gordon up to the majors too quickly, but they were also hurting for attendance during that time, and knew that Gordon being up in KC would bring droves of fans from Nebraska to go to games.

As a Royals fan, I am very happy with the way his career turned out, and how he was a big component to their World Series teams in 2014 and 2015, especially the World Championship in 15.

My 13 yr old went through a half dozen eggs and a pound of bacon last night.  He makes it himself so I'm not complaining to much.  My wife has to hide her salmon that she buys cause he will eat all of it if she doesn't.

Ha ha!  Been there done that.  At 13 I could eat a ton of food and stay the same weight.  If I ate 17 hot pocket in a week now I'd gain ten pounds.  lol

I think it's OK to have status updates like this even there's a thread. We generally let that kind of thing slide since the status updates move along pretty quickly and this story will be of high interest  .

If I were you I would fly up just to hang out in bars like teach. I will never understand coming to Lincoln on game days just to hang out in bars when you are an adult with a job. Go to the freaking games if you are coming to Lincoln, or just stay near your home.  

We're going to the game.  I'm thinking of giving our 12 year old his ticket and telling him to meet us at the seats 40 minutes before kickoff.  A right of passage.

I'm really not going to do that.

I don't miss it at all.  I subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime year round, and Vue during football season.  I usually run my Vue subscription for about five months then cancel as soon as football season is over. The five month Vue subscription is probably close to one month of a cable subscription. 

I have no regrets. The one thing is I've gone back and forth between DirectTV Now and PS Vue a couple of times; DTV has the better channel package but the service is much worse (buffering).

I have three Rokus and I run PS Vue, Netflix and Hulu on all of them. I have the middle package with PS Vue and I'm getting BTN, a few ESPNS, the Golf Channel and three of four networks (no FOX atm due to a dispute).

I was very apprehensive about doing it because of the sports angle, but it has turned out to be better than I ever thought it would be.

Not being locked into a contract and being able to switch on / switch off is a godsend.

I called today and played the "cancel" game with them...they got me down to 52.99 a month

I don't watch too much of any of these guys but while we're mentioning Chappelle, Black Bush always gets me. Hilarious, but also cutting and profound.

Short answer: you owe certain duties to invitees/licensees who enter your land - so, yes, you can be found liable if you breach those duties.    

I guess you technically could be held liable, but in Nebraska it wouldn't be likely.  They like to encourage landowners to give permission.  I reckon the exact statutes could be looked up fairly easily.

If you're married have your wife wash your hair over the kitchen sink. You could also take a cab or have a friend drive you to a hair salon. You might want to cut your hair shorter until you get to the point where you can shower again. 

  Also, invest in a roll of press 'n seal wrap to cover your bandages so they don't get wet.

  I was also going to tell you to make sure you stay in the sling during your waking hours. I slept with it on the first week just so I wouldn't accidentally hurt myself.  Mine had a little loop on it for my thumb so I wouldn't accidentally reach forward.

Base layer: warm clothing

Next layer: Husker gear - red, not black

Outer layer: Hawkeye layer just to walk around the tail gating to get free food and drink.  Then remove this layer and burn it before entering stadium

Tuesday I attended the C2 High School championship game and wore a wicking tee as a base layer then a cotton tee over that and a long sleeve shirt over that.  Next was a light weight polyester jacket with fiber fill and a medium weight water resistant jacket with a hood over the top.  I had jeans and bib insulated coveralls over my legs.  a neck warmer and a stocking cap on my head and kept very warm.

Dude had better stats in HS than Kyler Murray.
