Hardest sale I ever got in on was when HP killed the TouchPad just six weeks after launching it and put it on fire sale for fifty bucks. I was sitting there trying to order it pretty much day and night while their servers were getting hammered, lol. Ultimately managed to snag one for me and one for my brother.

I'm glad I recently did a PC rebuild which is staving off my thirst for one of the new consoles, but I've heard of a lot of people having problems/issues getting ahold of one. Glad you managed it!

Thanks. I'll probably get a PS5 too next year when they become (more) available. But yeah, the presales were crazy insane.

Well, considering FS1 is running a lot of the former ESPN talent, something tells me we’re in for a bumpy ride on ESPN this year. 

I've listened to McAfee's stuff before so I kinda knew what to expect with his over the top schtick and Amin is generally pretty good.  That being said...that thing was rough.

Difference is EA is looking for xbox exclusives and EA is multi platform games.  This will not benefit them as they would lose the licensing from the NFL, NHL etc if they were to lock them into just the Xbox.  Valve is all PC so they could pick and choose the exclusives from there and PUBG could easily be made into an exclusive.

You meant Microsoft right? And yeah, they’re looking for exclusives. And Madden and FIFA could easily become exclusive, and as long as Microsoft guarantees a set level of profit/royalties it’s all good. 

Then again, look at Minecraft and Mojang—they could buy EA, and keep pumping out FIFA and Madden multiconsole, but make everything else exclusive. Battlefield, Anthem, Star Wars KOTOR 3, Dragon Age...all could go exclusive no problem

As for exclusive the franchises I mentioned above will never happen, NFL contract even states will be on all platforms simutaneously and I'm sure the NHL and FIFA have similar licensing contracts (former IT guy at a company EA screwed over that made C&C).  Some of their IP, yes they could but the majors not so much.

Q39 is my favorite just because they have the best burnt ends. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork are comparable between the big names (Q39, Joe's, Jack Stack, etc.).

As for getting there...I'm driving a minivan and I've played Oregon Trail. I'm gonna caulk the van and float it down the river. Hopefully one of the kids doesn't get dysentery before then.

I'm probably going to wait and see what the PC reception is like before buying in. A YouTuber I follow pretty closely (LevelCap) said it has some odd issues right now including aim assist and/or some kind of shot registry issue, and aim assist is a really poor PC mechanic.

@Enhance I played the beta and not an issue at all.  Yes aim assist was there but it took 1 look in settings and disable no more worries.  I played with it on originally without even thinking about it and it was smooth either way.

@VectorVictor Not a fan of consoles myself so i stick with PC whenever possible.

@ZRod, I only mentioned XB1 since it actually has backwards compatibility with many 360 (and soon original XBox) titles and could actually be made compatible.

Problem is, it's purely EA's decision on this, and EA is being willfully obtuse on not making this game BC--it won't violate any of the terms of their legal agreement, as they're not selling the game, and EA still has the servers up (as CDog reminded us above). 

Or the lower A endline seats, for that matter. Looking at what's available on StubHub, taking kiddo to her first VBall game.

I am with MacNCheeze on this one.  it's just dang weird.  If you want to go to the game that's fine, but wear normal clothes.  Everything doesn't have to be Husker related.
