Personally I would like to see them execute without wind first......then we can worry about these other possible eventualities. Anyway, if it's that windy, it might be time to lean on an effective run game.

everyone freaks out that nebraska threw 48 passes against purdue in that wind. but no one remembers that purdue threw the ball 43 times in that same wind. and they were winning (sometimes by huge margins)

He started for most of last season too. As I wrote somewhere, he has lost his confidence. If he doesn't get it back pronto, he's toast.

A few things. He apparently was the best we had last year. The coaches are aware now for sure of the problems he has been having. They have shown that they will pull him if needed. I think they will most likely be quicker to pull that trigger now so I don't really have a problem with him starting. They see every practice. What I have a problem with is that apparently there is no one on the roster obviously better to put in that position.

Suspensions haven't been announced, although it is highly speculated that Rose-Ivey is one of those suspended.

If he is indeed suspended, I'm just really satisfied it's not for something minor like starting a brawl on National TV. That would seem irrational.

The Colorado HS group that controls sports, chaasa, has rules that prevent any conflict. My daughter plays both, no problem at all. And, she wouldn't be near the player she is without club ball. The high school season is a letdown to be honest. Short, worse coaching, players are not as good, etc.

There is no picking between the 2 because it is impossible for them to conflict or to play at the same time. Without those rules though, I can see where it could be a big mess. Can't believe that is allowed to go on.

Yeah, it is a big thing in a lot of places because "select sports" make big dollars so they gotta keep the kids they have.
