My high school's dress code policy mentioned them specifically.   Along with Coed Naked.  Although nobody would have still been wearing them anyway by the time I was in high school.

Make 7 . . . Up Yours shirts flew under the radar for a good long while though.

In 1982 we made the trek from Lincoln for the Auburn football game. On the way down we stopped at our fraternity at Mississippi State and spent the night. They were having their hell week when we were there. As you might expect the boys down south take their hazing pretty serious. A live goat was brought in to the house and the pledges were threatened with having to “do” the goat. They even made a big show of it by taking them into a separate room one at a time. Those poor pledges actually believed they were going to have to do it....of course they didn’t but the mental anguish was very real. I can still hear that goat bleating 

I remember in high school football, after the Thursday night dinner we'd all have ice cream with chocolate syrup for dessert.   The first dinner of the year we would always switch one of the freshman's ice cream with mashed potatoes.   Oh boy we got crazy.

Not much on my end, staying up late, doing some cleaning...stuff like that!

Worked at Orange Julius in the mall.  It obviously sucked but there were always cute girls that would come up so that was pretty good.  Plus, Auntie Anne's pretzels was next to us so we'd always trade juliuses (?) for pretzels.

Other job was working at a golf course as a golf cart kid.  Walking up super early was tough at times but the tips got really good once I got to know the regulars.  I could make $100-$150 on a busy Saturday which was basically a million dollars for 17-18 year old me.

Probably a wink/wink thing.  BTW, the tickets are outragious.  Is that the Superdome  pocketing that or season ticket holders?

Ha-down to just Monday. Better make that day up or I hope they lose their accreditation

No doubt. They really need to look at making it younger. If kids don't start smoking in middle School they may never start at all and then how many people will we have trying to collect social security benefits?  We need to make it as tough as possible for people to live into their 60's. I say 10 would be a good smoking age.

I am not sure if I have ever left a movie early.  I am still trying to think of the worst one I have seen in a theater.

The Lovely Bones.  I only went to it because someone else wanted to see it.  Ugh.

Aren't the A (and maybe B) districts based on some formula of the prior 2 or 3 years computer rankings to try to keep them "even"?  I don't think they do them willy nilly.

IDK, that seems awfully haphazard. Back in the Stone Age when I went to Columbus high we always played Fremont, Grand Island, Norfolk And Hastings. And we would often play Lincoln East, Lincoln High and Benson. Kearney and Lincoln High are the only 2 in the same district now. I would say our biggest rivals were Norfolk, GI and Fremont. Seems strange that isn’t the case anymore.....almost 40 years later 

We are very ahead in the 2021 class. Once we start winning there’s no reason we shouldn’t go up about 4-7 or so spots in the rankings every year 

If we start winning I expect it to happen occasionally.

Once we start winning, I can see possibly getting into the top 10 occasionally.  But to say that now, after the last 20 years.....seems a bit out there.

Nothing better than the unscheduled, infrequent snow day.

Don’t like summer break much- I only get 4.5 weeks and much of that is spent at in services or trying to get a jump

Not a scheduled break.  And NOT my favorite.  But I hated snow days.  All my town buddies got to go sledding or stay home and watch TV.  My dad raised cattle.  So I had to scoop about a hundred and fifty yards of feedbunks in the freezing morning cold.  

The dripping Italian beef makes for messy eating.  The philly is more tidy and tastes good too! 

Either or.  Depends on the day.
