I'm pretty relaxed. Think this offense will be fun to watch and will keep us in most games. And there is nowhere to go but up for this defense...so things are looking up.

I'm with El D. I'm getting old enough where I don't get too worked up about games anymore. Especially ones we win!

We didn't look great, but the offense played just fine and Bryant looked special. I'm going to excuse the poor D play as transition growing pains

I usually do this, but I haven't had time this year.  Busiest summer of my life!

Hopefully the games from the last couple years won't shed much light on what to expect this year.

Tommy probably would have been very good in Beck's offense for the remainder of his career. That's was a style very well suited for Tommy's style.

That was the oddest part of the day for me. I only caught the very beginning and the end of the hearing. But it was odd to watch a former POW war hero essentially throw a hissy fit from the Senate floor over something he didn't understand.

I am checking to see if Iowa has become champions of anything or a pipeline to the NFL overnight because that is not the moniker they have carried at any point under Papa Ferentz. And, Ferentz Lite is right, Iowa's lackluster history is something that sits squarely on the shoulders of the current staff. Good luck selling that to your fanbase, recruits, and players.

This does raise the topic that Iowa hates Nebraska while that is not reciprocated down in Lincoln. This has given them an edge in games we play in late November. I would like to see the same level of vitriol coming out of the program toward the Hawkeyes (and Badgers for that matter). Call it a rivalry or not, but when someone is trying to take something away from your program, you need to meet them with the same intensity and bad intentions.
