I got home about half way thru it and started watching....again. It still hurts.

while it's sad that he died...it is more about a great story about overcoming adversity and keeping a positive attitude. don't let the negative sh#t bring you down and you can still achieve great things no matter how stacked against you things seem to be. i hope we have a team full of brook berringers who can overcome all the negative stuff that people just can't let go of around here and they can achieve the greatness we all want for them.

NUance, he's not ripping off the taxpayers of Nebraska. If he's ripping off anyone, he's ripping off the donors and supporters of the Athletic Dept. Why is it so hard to understand that the Athletic Department isn't a tax funded department?

Every public university gets money from donors. All the things that aren't paid for by donors are paid for with taxes, student fees, and other lessor sources. It's not like the donors said

"I'm only giving this for the Pelini buyout. If you want to use it for something else I'm not giving anything." If you waste donor dollars on coaching buyouts you have less to spend on more worthy things.
