Michigan State. Can’t lose to that bad football team. Once we lost there I didn’t have us beating Maryland or Wisconsin as momentum was lost. If we had won there, I think we win at least one of the next two. Now our whole season comes down to Iowa.

Maryland. The turnovers and the inability to get more than 10 points on the board against a pretty average team was pathetic.

The Minnesota loss helped the team get motivated to really dial it in starting with Illinois. Which we did. We needed either Michigan State or Maryland to get the bowl game and not getting it just put us into a terrible place.

Michigan State.  We were at 5-3.  We had a 3 game winning streak going up against a team with a 6 game losing streak. Our offense couldn't score much as usual, but our defense gave up some big plays against a team that had previously looked like they had given up on the season.

Now I will say the Iowa game.  It ended the season.  It kept us out of a bowl game.  It proved once again that we are not ready for the NEW Expanded B1G - we could be bottom quarter dwellers next year unless something drastic happens via the portal and coaching changes.
