Branno
We normally make good adjustments at half time. Take away the two picks and this is a completely different game. Get some momentum on offense and we'll be rolling. This game is far from over. GO BIG RED! Quote Link to comment
AFhusker
When will Nebraska be NEBRASKA again? I'm tired of us being our own worst problem on these nationally televised games. When we get a coaching staff worth a sh#t. Nothing has changed as a mobile QB will always dominate a Bo led defense. Comes down to athletes.... and we don't have them on defense, or the offensive line.... Which is still a coaching problem....Bo didn't start taking recruiting seriously until last year, now we see the result of that indifference towards recruiting. Quote Link to comment
MichiganDad3
Need to chill out, folks. Lots of football left to be played. While we've been our own worst enemy the first half and have had virtually no answer for Braxton Miller, we have to believe that Pelini will adjust and hopefully slow them down. If we come out and score, it's a 4 point game. It hasn't been pretty, but it's far from over. Agree, but the defense must bring pressure, and the offense cannot have any turnovers. If we hit Miller repeatedly we dominate. Quote Link to comment
nuhuskeralum
taylors two picks are really the difference in this game. without them they never get that momentum. Gotta take the good with the bad with TM and we have him for a season and a half. Johnny Stanton will be here next year Taylor will and should start. No way Stanton is ready as a true freshman. kid nickels
Really? This game isn't over......defense is playing OK...Martinez staring down receivers....it ain't over boys...Ohio state is in a dog fight and we are Nebraska!! Really? They played great in the first qtr.....pathetic in the 2nd...overall a 35 point half is not OK. We haven't been Nebraska since Tom retired from coaching....sad but true. FLU, is that you?? lo country
Why do we return the kickoffs when we never get past the 15? Why does Beck call straight drop back passes? Why does Bo stop pressuring BM when we were killing BM with pressure and he is killing us with no pressure? We are idiots and BO is too proud to admit he has issues. Guy knows pocket passers, but has no idea what to do with a mobile QB. Quote Link to comment

nuhuskeralum
If we come out and do zero on that first drive.................we're in BIG trouble. We better have some major adjustments at halftime to stop Braxton. The only way to beat them is to keep him in the pocket and make him beat us with his arm. Having said that the secondary is playing crappy as well. Right on. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Bo seat has got to be getting at least a little warm by now!! No, it doesn't. Quote Link to comment

I agree that Bo didn't recruit well for a couple years, but to act like he don't know what he is doing is ridiculous (see 2009).... Quote Link to comment
NUance
you can pretty much hear braxton's testicles gargling in todd blackledge's throat LMFAO. Because it's true. +1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerJax
So sick of turnovers. Seems like we have been cursed by yhem since what? 99? What is the fricken problem? Make these players carry a ball everywhere and encourage everyone who sees the to try and knock the ball out. So frustrating. Quote Link to comment

The Duke
Second Quarter Impressions: Notice to Tim Beck: When you have a QB who sometimes struggles with his accuracy you don't call passing plays deep in your own red zone. Thanks for giving Ohio State 14 free points. 1st Quarter the power running game was efficient and had the defense on their heels. 2nd Quarter...we abandoned the power running game for the zone-read. It's Official!!! Bo Pelini is a very good defensive coordinator. However, his defense still has no answer for a mobile QB. Thoughts Heading Into 2nd Half: The only way Nebraska is going to come back and win this game is if they pound the ball and keep Braxton Miller off the field. Defense MUST put a QB Spy on Braxton Miller. Whether we in or lose this game, a chance for a Big Ten title is still out there for the taking. Focus on the Wins/Loss column for the Legends Division.
