Huskinator
I believe Rex had a fumbling problem in his early years..... Helu didnt have a fumbling issue but was Brown the RB coach then? I thought he couched something else before doing RBs Quote Link to comment
swmohusker
I just hope that increased touches does not equal increased fumbles for Newby...because he already does that enough. Same knock that Abdullah is getting from NFL scouts. Maybe some of this has to do with coaching. Most of Abdullah's fumbles were bc of him trying to get extra yards and not bc of bad ball security. He would sell out every play, but it just seemed at times after first contact and him giving that extra effort he would lose the ball. He was tied with TMart a few years ago with fumbles...so I'd say that's probably not true. stats from past 2 seasons AA 593 touches 9 fumbles MG3 569 touches 11 fumbles Yeldon 436 touches 7 fumbles Cobb 588 touches 8 fumbles Seems pretty in line with a normal running back and the number of times they cough up the ball. When Ameer fumbles it is not bc he is swinging the ball all over the place. He keeps it high and tight. His problem was when he would run through contact and fight for that extra yard he would put the ball on the turf. Sorry we are off topic. Good luck wherever you go Bussey. We will be okay at RB, but would have loved to see him in our old offense. Quote Link to comment

StPaulHusker
I seriously want to see him flip to TAMU and then get an offer from LSU and flip again. 1 Quote Link to comment

ShawnWatson
I was just looking at Rivals, Tennessee has signed 102 kids in the previous 4 classes and Nebraska signed 87. I knew that oversigning was a huge benefit in the SEC but didn't realize it was that big of a gap. Quote Link to comment

Judoka
We still talk about this kid? Why? If I had to guess, it may be for the same reasons some people watch NASCAR or other high speed, high risk pursuits...to watch the wreck as it unfolds. 3 Quote Link to comment

DrinkinwitTerrellFarley
See Peyton Manning can just retire and slide in as the QB Coach/OC in Knoxville. I'm guessing the money and the yards record bring him back though. Quote Link to comment
