Danny Bateman
Will also take his OV to Nebraska the week after going to Oregon. May also visit Iowa in January if they offer. Says Bussey, Jones and himself are waiting to see how the rest of the staff is filled out before deciding for sure. 100% Huskers for now. Lol. Like Daishon, but the fact that he considers himself on par with Bussey and Jones is comical enough for me to say have fun committing to Oregon when they won't take you (too much Fireball in me tonight, sorry).+1 for politeness Bone. I read it as the three of them are similar in their decision making process. Hope we nab em all. Quote Link to comment
swmohusker
I would say Neal is everybit as talented as Jones. His potential is through the roof. I think we take Neal for granted a little bc he is a Nebraska boy. He is long and fast. Quote Link to comment

Hedley Lamarr
Hopefully the early enrollees and the rest of the class is in these guys ears. They could be a part of NU returning back to elite status. They would be idols and set for life after football. Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
Agreed Hedley. I think it's very exciting how many early enrollees we could have. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
The early enrollee is very intriguing this year...with the coaching change. Some of these kids could come in and fight right away for a spot because they will all be on the same level (knowledge of system). I do hope Daishon stays with his commitment...he will be a local kid that will make some waves in Lincoln! Quote Link to comment
ScottyIce
He is already making waves.... just sayin' Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
This is all coming from an Oregon media outlet. Not saying he isn't seriously considering the Ducks, but I question to the extent of what the article leads on and how much the quotes are exaggerated. I heard the story on the way home from work last night here in Eugene and it inferred that Dishon was coming here but it said nothing about a commit, it was mostly a news cast about Riley needing to continue to battle the Ducks even from Lincoln. C N Red
I think OU is one place he'd be scared to go to right now. I think the Stoops era will be coming to an end if things dont change next year. And Daishon seems to be committing to coaches and not schools/programs. Quote Link to comment

Really, what draw is there to OU right now? They were at best 3rd in a conference that wasn't good enough to get either of their top two teams in the playoff. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
He now has official visits scheduled for Oklahoma on January 16th, Oregon on January 23rd, and Nebraska on January 30th. Quote Link to comment
NoLongerN
I'm guessing this kid becomes a 4* in the next evaluation period with Oregon and Oklahoma offers. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
I am starting to get the feeling along with several others Neal just likes the recruiting process and the attention that comes with it. Nothing wrong with that, and feeling wanted by major programs. Still, we got the last visit. All I care about. #close 1 Quote Link to comment
