The Duke
I will say that this crapping the bed against big teams on prime time is getting way old. Hell a few years ago ISU beat Oklahoma St and they were ranked 2nd. Yep. There should be no more excuses as to why we perform so poorly on these big prime time games. Quote Link to comment

The Maudfather
  Sparty is a dirty team  GTFO, dude. We suck. Stop bitching.   Why don't you get out. All you're doing is trashing Nebraska fans who are actually cheering on their team.  What exactly are you doing besides trashing husker fans? Not exactly. Just think it's silly to bitch about msu playing dirty. This isn't Miami. This has been a pretty clean game. Quote Link to comment
Dr. Mantis Toboggan
  Here was the outlook on Stanton in the Omaha World-Herald at the beginning of the season:  When this power-running signal-caller knew where he was supposed to throw the ball in spring camp, good things happened. Really good things. When decisive, Stanton looked every bit as good as any quarterback the Huskers have had since Joe Ganz. But he wasn’t often decisive, and Stanton running laterally, looking for receivers, isn’t the same weapon as Stanton pitched forward.  Still, in the spring game, Stanton played his best, completing 8 of 12 passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn’t caught Tommy Armstrong for the starting job and he’s neck-and-neck with walk-on Ryker Fyfe for the backup spot, but if Stanton can keep drilling in the offense and learning what works, he could surpass both. The upside is there.  Give it up.  Yeah, give it up. No one wants to hear your facts. Quote Link to comment
The Snork
  Please explain to me how Armstrong is better than Martinez, no a big TM fan but TA is no betterTA has Waaaaay less interceptions and I haven't seen him with a "deer in the headlights" look yet. Pretty sure he had that look all night  Nobody does that look like Martinez. Quote Link to comment

HuskersNE89
Alex Lewis is not living up to his preseason hype Seems to be a recurring theme with OL. I always hear about some "stud" on the OL who is gonna be incredible. Yet we consistently can't give any more than 1 second in the pocket and can't get any push against opposing defensive lines that are mediocre or better Quote Link to comment
ithinkiloverg44
There it is. Alright well let's fight and make this a 10 point game or so. Damn really upset about this game Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
Â Â I'm glad Beck finally gave up on the damn screens... Â Again. Beck isn't short hopping easy completions. The coaches are ultimately responsible for the players they put on the field...short hopping TA is beck's chosen qb. (maybe bo's)...Beck has to play to the strengths of his players...he fails to do that a lot.TA is short hopping only to Alonzo Moore. It's not really indicative to the rest of his game Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
i wouldn't mind the losses so much, if they were at least competitive. But this is just one lopsided loss after another. That, or they weren't stupid losses like this one, where we got zero points on three turnovers and with MSU trying to give us this game the whole time. Â Again, Beck, O-Line, and Tommy's passing need to be examined thoroughly during the bye week. Or we can say 'bye' to any sort of B1G title shot or BCS bowl. Quote Link to comment

He's clearly a world beater being 3rd string with all that great QB talent we've got ahead of him. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hayseed
I'm thinking maybe Alonzo would've done better on defense. Right now I'm wondering why we can't do more with Pierson-El.......same thing? Quote Link to comment
