The Duke
Nice halftime adjustments coaches...NOT! Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I have no clue what we're trying to do right now. Again we keep 7 in to block against a 4-man rush. 3 receivers out running patterns on 7 in coverage. There's just no chance. Every guy is in traffic. Quote Link to comment
lo country
Tommy is scared to death. Haha beck made wonderful adjustments No OL and crappy play calling, I would be also. Not to mention he (Beck) now wants you to throw... Quote Link to comment
irafreak
That was sad. Two guys there and he just freezes them and then outruns them to the corner Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
Seriously, that was the playcalling coming out of halftime. Just do the same things that didn't work in the first half? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Big game Pelini is striking again, he must've learned that from Big game Bob? Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
Who ever thought beck could adjust.......There you go. Beck adjusted Tommy's jockstrap, and that's about it Quote Link to comment
Saunders
MSU not impressing me. Our O is just that bad IMO. So is our defense. I miss our overly aggressive defensive scheme under McBride. For one thing it was fun to watch, but secondly and more importantly our players never felt like they were playing passive. They were the aggressors. They were the ones dictating what the offense could or couldn't do. Charlie himself has said he couldn't run the same defense today, specifically with letting the ends go upfield with reckless abandoned. That does make sense, especially with the way teams spread you out now, and also the way they use the up-tempo no huddle. It's just that defense was so damn fun to watch! Ah memories. Oddly enough other teams have adjusted and field aggressive successful defenses...... Yeah, Sparty only had 46 dropped on them, by Oregon. Oh wait... I'll take Charlie's word on his own defense, thanks. Quote Link to comment
lo country
And Pelini looks lost on the sidelines..... Out coached again........... Quote Link to comment
Army_Allen
Kalu froze when he needed to just seal the edge Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I'd say AA's Heisman hopes are pretty much done, he can thank the offensive line for that I guess......... Quote Link to comment
Husker in CA
Yep. Looks like lots of adjustments. This team is outclassed and outplayed. Flat footed. No effort. Ineffective game plan. So pretty much a regular Pelini coached football team. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
BLACKSHIRTS still playing hard. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
At least our defense gives a s**t. Quote Link to comment
louisianared
That's what happens when you play aggresive D. Quote Link to comment
