HuskerNation1
I'd say AA's Heisman hopes are pretty much done, he can thank the offensive line for that I guess......... It's exactly what happened to Mariotta, except this is an inverse situation. I wouldn't go that far....the offensive line has been a HUGE reason AA has even been in Heisman consideration. They are not playing great tonight, but I think Beck's calling and TA's inability to pass is a bigger reason for the lack of yards. Quote Link to comment
URSS
Is there any chance they are just better than us? For some reason I'm not feeling all that bad. Yes..Tommy has made some horrible throws. But really...top to bottom...I'm thinking they are just a level above us in coaching, skills, etc. Not going to throw my Husker flag in the trash over this game. I do want to see this team not give up. Our offensive line is not getting it done. Tim Beck planned on a running game and Tommy Armstrong is overwhelmed with the rush coming at him. I think we should have had a pass game planned to loosen up their defense. Now they are just demoralized and shell shocked. They need some leadership and are not getting it. The defense is not doing too bad but they can't carry the load. They will wear down soon if the offense does not make some long drives and put some points on the board. They need to pass first to open up the run. Quote Link to comment
strigori
So, when does Fyfe make a showing? When Armstong gets hurt if Pelini's track record means anything. Quote Link to comment
Army_Allen
please bring in Fyfe we have nothing to loseIt would never happen. It's not what Bo does. Many other successful coaches will do so to get their qb out of a rut but Bo has some both in game and year to year predisposition to stay with the same qb for whatever reason. Quote Link to comment
VectorVictor
The Rutgers/Michigan game is more entertaining YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOU--oh, wait, it really is. S**t. Quote Link to comment
lo country
So let's see, 3 hand offs straight up the middle with 5 blocking 7-8? Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Well announcers with a good point about the Oregon game... That flip play by Mariota broke their Ds confidence and opened them jp to big plays. I tHink we can do that too... But it is on Beck to figure out how. Pretty poor first offensive series after the half. We shall see... Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
If I see the same offensive formation on this drive, I'm going to scream! Quote Link to comment

Saunders
Why does Cook continually have a safe pocket to pass from? He's 7/20 with 2 gaffes in coverage as the difference. He's also made a couple really tight throws. Quote Link to comment

zoogs
Kalu is getting beat every play. Not sure we're watching the same game. Kalu's been a bright spot on D, I think. He's been quite competitive. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt39
So let's see, 3 hand offs straight up the middle with 5 blocking 7-8? It's not even that. These running plays are way too slow developing. Quote Link to comment
