Not a great year here at Nebraska, but he did have a shaky line, no run game, and an unproven WR corp. Crazy things happen when a team likes a QB. Mitch Trubisky started 13 games at UNC and went 2nd overall. Not saying Lee will go high, but some team will take a shot with him. Agree. Think he'll be a late round pick Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
Lee gets drafted, probably on day 3 though. He will be a guy who improves his stock steadily as draft day approaches. Quote Link to comment

I don’t think he was going to improve his stock any by staying at NU another season. True, I'm not questioning it. I'm rooting for the kid. I found this: http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/insider/story/_/id/20490772/nfl-draft-2018-mel-kiper-top-10-prospects-rankings-position. So he is on Kiper's radar. Quote Link to comment
Hooked on Huskers
He is similar to Zac Taylor. Zac was drafted? Sam Keller too. Quote Link to comment

I don’t think Zac Taylor was drafted, and neither was Keller. Lee has the size and arm strength which was the “prototype” 10 years ago. His negatives are his lack of mobility and decision making. 1 Quote Link to comment

grandpasknee
I had high hopes for T Lee...he "looked the part" for sure. Hope he gets drafted and has a good career. Quote Link to comment
Big Mike
Best of luck. Getting paid to carry a clip board is better than not. 3 Quote Link to comment

Definitely shows how NU hasn’t recruited and developed elite talent on offense in recent years. EDIT: Toniu Fonoti also declared early for the NFL in the early 2000s. Dogs In A Pile
While things didn't work out for Tanner the way everyone hoped they would he always conducted himself with class in a way I would expect from a Husker. And between the lack of execution of the OL and WR plus some questionable play calling I think he gave it his all and did the best he could. Even in pressers after tough games he kept his cool. I'm with everybody else in thinking this is best for both him and the team. I wish him the best and hope he can stick at some NFL team. After seeing a lot of backups this year I could see it happening. 2 Quote Link to comment
Truth in Ruin
If he would’ve been able to start next year- it would’ve been smarter to stay. If he isn’t going to start next year- it’d be better for him to leave. Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
He knows how to take a hit, throw under pressure, play from behind and stay positive when playing for a losing team. While I'm not sure if Cleveland is a great fit they may take a look. 1 Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
At least he might find a line that can block and give him a few seconds to pass. 1 Quote Link to comment
