Decoy73
It's been two days since Troy and all the negative comments are not doing anyone any good. Negativity is contagious and leads to false perception, which eventually becomes reality if left unchecked. I'm just as guilty as anyone after a loss at grabbing a beer and sulking or otherwise spreading negativity about what the Huskers are doing wrong. So with the commencement of conference play upon us, I thought maybe a little positivity might do us all some good. There is another thread about how things aren't so bad and there is a lot of good stuff in there, but also some very long comments. I was thinking something a little more brief. List ONE positive thing about the Husker Team, Program, etc and give a brief reason if you'd like. Let's see how far we can take this. You may be surprised. I'll start. Mohammed Barry. This dude is a Big Ten linebacker. He's going to do some great things for us this year. 3 Quote Link to comment
StPaulHusker
If Maurice Washington can beat B1G defenders to the outside, he is going to have a special freshman season 2 1 Quote Link to comment
Gage County
We're 18th in rushing offense and 21st in rushing defense. Even our 42nd total offense is a good improvement over last year (87th). 2 Quote Link to comment
InOmaha
We started a freshman QB in our first game for the first time in school history. And he had over 300 yards of total offense in his first game. 3 Quote Link to comment
grandpasknee
We'll win some games this year, but not as many as most of us hoped/wanted. I think the learning process and the culture change are a much bigger challenge than perhaps we thought. I'm all on board with Frost and have said I won't judge him, his staff or the team till we get in to the third season. I feel we'll see this team get better in a lot of important ways through this year, and think we've already seen some good progress. Kind of sad I'm only the fifth "positive" energy poster on this thread. :-( I'll be in the stadium for the Purdue game and hope to see our first or second win of the year! 1 Quote Link to comment
4skers89
We've outgained our opponents 929 to 648 yards. Are @The Dude and @Gage County twins? 3 Quote Link to comment
Scarlet Overkill
There were a lot of positives to take away, even in disappointment. This is the time where the team will come together, and realize they need to lean on one another, and i think we will see that manifest on the field sooner rather than later. The future is bright, despite what it feels like now. 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
Stan is closer to being the first receiver to go for over 1000 yrds in Husker history. IIRC has 130 to date. He is a verbal and role model leader. 2 Quote Link to comment
Decoy73
Kurt Rafdal has had some nice catches. The future is looking bright for the tight end position. 1 Quote Link to comment
krc1995
I really liked Frosts' presser today. No excuses. Mentioned the minute the coaches start changes players/schemes radically, then the players will panic and therefore not a lot of changes will occur. I fully believe that he believes so therefore I believe to. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
This team is passing the eye test in a lot of ways. I challenge anyone being negative to watch some of the individual battles instead of focusing on the score board. The wins will come with time. Any rational fan knew there would be rookie mistakes... But man do we have some awesome things happening. I'm actually excited with what I have seen. 2 Quote Link to comment
Stone Cold
Scott Frost has a passion for his players. He takes there development personal. 2 Quote Link to comment

roadrat
Frost is here for the long term. We didn't hire him to fix everything that was left for dead in 5 minutes. Check back at season's end and see if this team hasn't improved. 1 Quote Link to comment
