Minnesota_husker
This sounds like a great move in terms of a vet leader. Losing Mick is hard because of his ability on the field but he seemed like a passionate leader. Seems like Daniels will be a rotation guy. not nearly as big as his brother but hopefully he can be a leader. Quote Link to comment
spurs1990
Hopefully Fair makes it. The defensive line all of the sudden would have some pretty good depth and guys would actually get to play the position they are best suited for. This would also allow for new recruits both committed and hopefully to be committing soon to be brought along a bit slower and allow for more realistic expectations no matter their number of stars. Allowing both the Davis twins to bump out to end generates some pretty good competition out there too with Deontre Thomas healthy. 1 Quote Link to comment

He was getting NFL looks going into this year before he got hurt. He's 6'3 320 and very athletic. I think the rotation behind him will be Damion and Tony. 1 Quote Link to comment
Calvin
Suddenly, DT a position of (potential) strength. Excited to see what a full offseason with Duval does for these guys. 1 Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
curious if we don't encourage Vaha to look elsewhere now 1 Quote Link to comment
husker_fan_from_sweden
Very excited about what this staff is accomplishing with infusing day one starter talent into positions of need. It shows that Scott knows exactly what this roster is missing to take the next step and has a very proven formula for success he's implementing. Super smash Daniels/Davis bros are going to be fun to watch next year. 2 Quote Link to comment

Just some players don’t like the truth they’re being told. If Vaha is happy to be 2nd or 3rd string I doubt the coaches will try to get rid of him. They’ll just tell him where he stands. Also, he was out of football a long time. There’s still potential for improvement next season. Quote Link to comment
PasstheDamnBallGuy
In a defense that is going to be on the field as much as ours I'm not sure we could find a player that is a true NT that can play all game. I'll take as much depth as possible there. 1 2 Quote Link to comment

Could still work but he seemed to be a long way from game ready. Now with more options he might not be needed Quote Link to comment
bisonwiches
Super excited about the addition of Darrion, Okie Lite referred to him as a vocal leader, spark plug and overall positive dude. It all starts with the attitude and we need a leader on that d line 1 Quote Link to comment
BIG ERN
DT is a position of need..Mick, Davis Twins weren't who we wanted to put there. If Fair qualifies we now have 4 that can play it. Daniels (2), Vaha, Fair. For a 3 man front we were small last year IMO. Quote Link to comment

B.B. Hemingway
Hard to see a scenario where this kid doesn't start. He looked to be pretty productive for the Pokes. Quote Link to comment
