It would seem almost impossible to reclaim a better way. Schools can’t discipline or even provide consequences It’s very hard for schools to discipline kids now as federal mandates regarding positive behavioral interventions, providing or not encroaching on a student’s FAPE rights, school accountability regulations, the presence of “advocates,” etc. 1 Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
I was confident that Mo would be given an opportunity to earn his teammates' trust back as late as Saturday evening. Now, I dont feel that is in the cards and we won't be seeing Mo back. Quote Link to comment

They have simply reacted/adjusted based on school admin being forced by parents and the legal system. But I do think things were much better in this regard when parenting was better and the schools were allowed to help enforce limitations and consequences. I won't go into it in depth and derail the subject but it is plain pathetic how schools can no longer enforce even minimal attendance standards for their student athletes. I've had this discussion with the athletic director at the high school where my kids went. Basically told him how useless and pathetic their attendance standards were for athletes. He's been so beaten down by the system I'm not even sure he sees how futile their little rules are. Quote Link to comment

Hed be remorseful since being suspended indefinitely. Hed still been going to class and doing better there than he had been. Frost was open to Mo coming back under certain circumstances. Mo was at the awards banquet a couple Sundays ago. If you listen to what Scott said at the signing day presser, I feel one could hear him start to set the narrative for a Mo return. Red Five
Do his teammates want him back? Mo seemed to be playing by a different set of rules than everyone else. As much as SF preaches "culture", bringing Mo back doesn't seem to fit that narrative. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

I know he's still listed on the roster officially. Maybe we'll have a better idea ultimately of where this situation sits once his legal issues are finished. Quote Link to comment
