If they were going the other way and the ball was thrown towards the northeast corner, than the sun is an issue for him Quote Link to comment
The Duke Posted October 30, 2021 Share Posted October 30, 2021 I would say on that missed pass to Touré, both he & Martinez are to blame. When a receiver is that wide open it is the QB's responsibility to put the ball on the receiver. The biggest issue for Martinez during his entire career has been his accuracy. He either under throws guys (see the pick six from this game) or he over shoots them (see every missed pass to our huge TE's this year) For Touré when you're that wide open you can't try to catch and run. You need to go all out, and LAY-OUT for the football. Either way, big missed opportunity for Nebraska at the end of the half. Quote Link to comment
