One thing to keep in mind defensively is where Chinander is calling plays today.

 

The coaches booth is not at midfield. Its closer to one of the end zones which gives a much tougher angle of view on drives depending on where the ball is.

 

That will be a challenge for them today to communicate well with the defensive coaches on the field to get a good picture of what Northwestern is doing.

I think we underestimated the impact of losing a secondary that had like 4-5 years of playing experience together.
