  1. CBS News, ABC News, and NBC News are not decidedly liberal. None of these even come close to matching the propaganda arm of Fox News. If you think they do, it's because you're disconnected from reality.

  2. My god man. It came straight from his mouth using his own words. I mean, I know I treat MAGA with contempt, mockery, and disdain but for the love of all that is holy, are you serious? Do you think Tuberville said he went there to "Overcome this gag order" because he's just that nice of a guy? I mean, I know that even if he outright confessed to being directed by Trump, was charged with a crime, and went to court you'd still believe him. But the cognitive dissonance Conservatives display at their politics is truly astonishing.

  3. That analysis from *checks notes* the Republican Members of Congress is... misrepresented to say the least. In order to get to the $11,434 figure, a person would have to make a long series of poor economic choices. They'd have to buy a median house price at peak interest rates AND buy a new car, also at peak interest rates. While that person no doubt exists, it is not reflective of the median American. The median American (66% of them) are already a homeowner and the VAST majority of them refinanced their mortgage to rates at ~3% in 2021-2022. It's why their wealth is at the highest levels ever recorded. It's also why the median American's real wages are also at high levels: Americans refinanced debt at record low rates but enjoyed wage gains that surpassed it. That doesn't mean there aren't problems - there are. But stop living in some alternative fantasy, doomer fantasy land.

  4. You can parse words all you want. Anyone with a few functioning brain cells knows exactly why these sycophants are showing up at his trial and speaking to the press….to gain Trump’s favor by helping him circumvent the gag order. Spin it anyway you want, that is what they’re doing.

  7. Israel is successfully going to radicalize a lot of young, Palestinians who are going to be very mad that loved ones were killed by Israel's poorly conducted military operation. 5 or 10 years from now, an entirely new generation of 20 something young people will join Hamas and this cycle will start again. However, it does need to be said, that the voters of Israel are encouraging this with their voting behavior. Vote for morons in government, get moronic results.

  10. This is a perfect example of how asymmetrical the standards we hold different politicians to are. Biden: Agrees to modified debates, won’t do NYT interview, doesn’t do many press conferences. Trump: White nationalism apologism, tear gassed protestors for photo op, tries to overthrow government because he can’t admit he’s a loser, cartoonishly corrupt, saving grace is he’s too f#&%ing stupid and lazy to follow through on most of his awful ideas. 13. Because the press isn't liberal, it's conservative. There've been 100 stories about this guy that would have buried any other candidate, but the press protects him. They play him off like everything he does is normal politics.

  14. a lot of people use their religion as a shield because they really want to say "I don't like them because they are not like ME" so they say their faith is the reason. Because they are hateful and they are cowards.

  17. I think you have to go out and get your guy every year and not worry too much about that other stuff. High star QB talent transfers out at an absolutely ludicrous rate. It's approaching about 2/3rds of starting Power 5 QBs were transfers, about the same percentage of QBs taken in the first round of this latest NFL draft.

  19. NFL teams have practice squads of players that rarely, if ever touch an NFL field. And they are compensated very well for that. Teams need bodies. And competition. And players. Nebraska, with a very rich tradition of walk-ons being on the team and ultimately earning some playing time as a Jr or Sr, and some having pro careers… the washing away of amateur sports, wherein a kid who has limited talent but much desire is being eroded away, not given a chance to reach their potential. The dreams will be dashed, the desire to achieve greatness thru work will be passed over for the “85”. The stories that will be lost that they were on the team and maybe did some kickoffs or 4th qtr clean up time or made a tackle or block in that “one game” will be sadly lost and forever forgotten. Amateur sports and the college experience of young men competing and trying are dying right before our eyes. It’s sad.

  20. What a load of BS. Republicans delayed aid to both of these countries for months and actually fought against giving either one anything. Now, they’re crying because Biden is trying to get Bibi to not use the weapons to kill innocent Palestinians? And Republican sheep just eat it up and act like Biden is doing something so horrible. My god, it’s laughable how much their sheep will completely ignore what the party did for months only to then act like….”omg…Biden is horrible for putting demands on Bibi.”

  21. Good God man. did he also say he/they wanted “to speak out peace”. Maybe you chose not to hear that. Or you just didn’t listen to clip, or read my earlier posts. Not shocked at either. However, if you would have read my post, I very astutely said that Tommy clearly wanted to say the things that Trump cannot, and that is his right to do as long as he isn’t saying them for Trump. Until the judge in the case makes a statement about it, I’m much more right about the issue of who violates the gag order than you. As you know

  23. They are nowhere close to as liberal as conservatives want people to think. I find it funny that for a long time conservatives have whined about the New York Times being such a liberal newspaper. Now, they are being hammered for...checks notes....supporting Trump with behind the scenes communications from Trump on what to write about.

  24. How could I have not listened to it when I quoted from it (aside from my spell check error)? They are definitely trying to say the things Trump would like said. However that doesn’t mean they personally don’t want to say those things. I’m sure they do as he is quoted as saying they would like “to speak out peace” and they aren’t bound by a gag order to stay quiet. The Judge would get involved if they were running afoul of whatever order is in place. So far he hasn’t said a peep.

  29. It's also telling of their hypocrisy and want to only push the party line when just recently they were virtue signaling about "endless wars" as the US was supporting Ukraine after it was invaded by Putin's authoritarian regime. Now they're all foaming at the mouth about Biden putting restrictions on Bibi's plan to further a humanitarian disaster. These are the same foreign policy "experts" who had to be schooled on this board about who or what is Wagner PMC.

  32. Reporting that tax cuts don't work isn't "liberal", it's economic reality. Reporting that climate change is causing global temperatures to rise isn't "liberal", it's reality. The simple fact that none of these networks refer to Trump as "President Trump - Adjudicated Rapist" proves they are not in the same league as Fox News as a propaganda piece. The funny thing is, they'd be accurate in their reference to Trump. But they don't want to make people mad by reminding them they've voted for an Adjudicated Rapist (who later defamed his victim) by referring to him as such.

  39. The huskers simply can't hit when it's needed. Zero confidence on this teams bats. Carey and Stone were so overmatched in their at bats. Indiana just won this game because bolt doesn't know what style of play he wants. Leadoff walk, no attempt to advance, Stone strikes out. Carey at the plate, 1 out, pitcher balks, Evans advanced to 2nd. Carey, like stone, overmatched and swinging for the fence, strikes out. Evans still at 2nd. Silva walks, Overbeek does what he does best. Yep, you guessed it, struck out. Bunt the leadoff walk to second, the balk puts him on 3rd with 1 out. Bolt's inability to manage instead tells the hitter to swing away. What type of team have you been all year Bolt, most certainly not a power team. Play your game, bunt the ball and tie the game!!!!!

  40. Wow...only a roster of 85???? TOTAL???? Talk about something that would send shock waves through every level of college football. I don't necessarily agree with the tweet that says this will hurt Nebraska. Yes, everyone's walkon programs would be done away with. Basically, it would make them against the rules. But, it also would possibly diminish the ability for schools like OSU and Alabama to stockpile more talent. That over run of talent would then filter into programs like Nebraska. This would also have a huge affect on depth on many teams....even good teams. Where this would be absolutely huge though is at FCS and on down. There would be a huge flow of talent down the levels of football. All these walkons would move down, pushing other players further down. Ultimately, there would be way fewer kids with the opportunity to play college football.
