  1. You know what destroys democracy? Normalizing the bull**** we've seen from Trump for the last 4 years.

  2. To compete in the B10 it is vital that we sport a good offensive line - something we have not done well for a decade now. I can finally see where we start to dictate the line of scrimmage in the near future. You can call it potential or say they are being hyped up, but as long as Austin knows how to coach we will see a dominating OL like none we've seen this century. Kids are also given a free season this year that doesn't count towards eligibility. Yes, we will have the best OL Nebraska has seen in 25 years very shortly. OT: Corcoran (FR), Teddy (21' FR) OG: Piper (rFR) C: Jurgens (SO) OG: Hutmacher (FR) or Nouili (SO) if Nash stays on DL OT: Benhart (rFR), Banks (rFR) I'm aware these aren't the starters for this season.

  3. I'll take moderate status quo president every day of the week over someone who s#!ts daily on the 2 most important institutions that make up a free country. You and millions of others are not taking this s#!t seriously enough. It's like you think America is immune to going down a path away from democracy and/or other would be dictators in history announced what their plans were ahead of time. What more signals do you need? It is absolutely f#&%ing disgusting to have the leader of our country trashing our own democratic institutions for all the world to see and it's disgusting to me that people like you don't take it seriously. Who the f#&% cares if we get a nice president who keeps the status quo? What is so terrible about that? It's not my desire but it is infinitely better than what we have and will have if Trump stays in power. I could add a list of 100 other things that make him garbage but won't waste our time.

  4. Sure, let's ignore character, lawbreaking, cheating, siding with despots, misogyny, sexual assaults, ethics, racism, narcissism and only having the ability to stupidly repeat extremely simple adjectives (like big, really big, the biggest this world has ever seen) and rather focus on a very slightly diminished ability to publicly speak due to age. Do some of you realize how batsh#t crazy that really is? Almost half this country deserves the sh#tsandwich they voted for. Lucky for you we might just have a few more responsible and decent people in this country that will keep you from getting what you seem to want. You're welcome deplorables.

  5. Good observation. Square fold. Logo out. Just a bit right of center so he can wipe his throwing hand but still get his off hand if necessary. That's an all-conference towel game, that's what that is.

  8. I think photos like this claiming that Donald Trump wears a giant diaper to counter chronic incontinence from snorting Adderall, are childish and unnecessary. Stop spreading them around wherever you can!

  9. this republican utopia has driven me...a person who has voted almost exclusively republican since the days of reagan...to the point of wondering if i could ever vote for another person with that R by their name ever again. they have all thrown their loyalties to the most criminal president to ever disgrace the office. the trump s#!t stains will not wash off of them. they are forever tainted by it. hopefully a new conservative party arises from the ashes and throws the trumplican party into the trash heap of history.

  10. Jimmy Carter was a bad president, but a good person. One could say this about a number of presidents who weren't successful in the office. But Trump is a Bad Person period. The tree always produces fruit after its own kind - Bad person produces a bad presidency and that affects all of us.

  12. I keep seeing comments from people on line like: "What a horrible moderator" Or "Both candidates were acting like children" What a load of BS. I would like someone to explain exactly to me what either Biden or Wallace should have done differently when you have a pathetic human being on stage that acts like Trump did.

  13. @The Dude is wrong, as are you. Biden sounded smarter last night than Trump did in his 40s. That doesn't mean he sounds as sharp as he did 12 years ago but he was head and shoulders above the toddler he was debating. Neither of them is as smart as I am, but I digress.

  17. That's right Joe. Everything that's bad for Trump is fake news and very weak. And lashing out is the key to winning this thing. Like Trump's shtick, yours has become old and stale.

  18. Word is both Penn State and Florida State are after him but nothing substantial so far. He doesn't talk to the recruiting media much so he's kind of tough to get a read on. We actually offered him when he was a sophomore and he appreciates us recruiting him that early. Needs to add weight for college - may be why is wasn't as highly-rated. But is now one notch from being a four-star on 247.

  19. Interesting quote from leach saying he couldn’t believe the defense didn’t adjust and go from man to zone. How many times did we hear that while he was here. Too stubborn to adjust https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/Article/Ed-Orgeron-LSU-Tigers-Bo-Pelini-Mississippi-State-loss-defense-coverage-152204760/

  20. I think the ONLY spot Joe missed was this when they were talking about appointing a judge and Trump: "Elections have consequences" Joe said nothing but should have said "And the last 3 years have shown us how bad those consequences can be"

  21. The behavior Trump exhibited last night is nothing new. He did the same kind of stuff back in 2016 when debating Clinton. His bombastic and lawless attitude was seen as an endearing strategy that pushed back against the status quo of "American politics." It was marginally more believable back then because it fit nicely into his "drain the swamp" platform, but four years later, he hasn't drained any swamp and he has fallen flat on MOST of his biggest campaign platforms from four years ago: - Build a wall and make the Mexicans pay for it: NOPE - 'Drain the swamp': NOPE - Not rule by executive order: NOPE (he has signed 187 in less than four years in office; for comparison, Obama did 276 in eight years) - "Fix trade deals": give this one a PARTIAL - Repeal Obamacare: NOPE He's a poor excuse for a president.

  22. Ahhhhh, yeah. Forgot about that one. So... two bad games. Only forgetting how to coach defense twice isn't bad. Is it? As long as there aren't any more I'm forgetting, I think we can chalk those up to bad luck.

  23. My wife and I thought Wallace did as good of a job as possible under the conditions he was placed in. If he didn't have the power to mute the mic, then he really didn't have power to control the debate. For the most part he kept his cool and really he and Biden had to do their best to deal with the raging bull in the other corner or should I say blathering idiot in the other corner. Trump displayed his full narcissistic personality last night. Defensive, childish, lying, boastful, over the top self aggrandizing, Trump's only goal wasn't to say anything positive about policy, 2nd term goals. We learned nothing new about his future plans. His only goal was to keep Biden from out shining him with thoughtful proposals. He did this wt his over the top rudiness. It was hard for Biden to get into the flow of sharing his ideas. So, in some ways Trump succeeded and all of us are the worse because of it. America, do we want this kind of guy as president?? I've never seen such a unpresidential performance in my long life. We deserve better and more so We Need Better. While Biden didn't get much of an opportunity to get into the flow of the debate, at least he had some intelligent things to say. All in all, this debate showed that we have a child (and I don't mean to insult children - children are innocent, trump knew what he was doing) as a president but worse off, our system is broken if this is the best we can do. I believe this is applicable to the debate and to Trump's performance last night:

  26. It's useless to have another of these events without the moderator being able to shut off the mic from each guy. These aren't debates. They're performance art for trump. If you want to do a service for America, force them to debate or don't do these things at all.

  28. i think Joe baited trump into being that bat s#!t crazy raging lunatic last night. maybe "dementia Joe" is really working out well. trump thinks he is in control because joe has diminished capabilities....when really Joe is goading him into showing us how looney don the con really is.

  29. biden played trump like a fiddle. he got trump so worked up and had him raging like a lunatic all night. call trump a clown and watch him get red faced and fly off the handle in 3 different directions. say his handling of corona was dismal and watch trump lose his temper and rage off in another 3 directions. trump was a raging fool all night long and joe was laughing at trump most of the time. and the best part is....the trumpers think trump was great. lol.

  32. That was 2014, the same year Minnesota kept running Leidner off the right edge and there was never anyone home. Leidner ran for 452 yards that year. Almost one fourth of his season's total came in Lincoln against Bo's defense.

  33. I remember watching the first game they played Rutgers in Lincoln. They kept lining up in some formation that must have adjusted who had outside contain. They kept running naked bootlegs and we had nobody there. After the first time it happened I turned to my father who is a coach and said "we'll see that 5 more times". we did and there wasn't an adjustment. same problem with contain plagued them the whole year.

  39. I would say go ahead and have the VP debates if you want, but no more between Trump and Biden. That s***show from Trump last night was all I needed to see to know how the next would be like.

  40. Let me add something to my post above: Lawlessness. Trump touts himself as mr law and order. However he is neither 'self governed' nor does he abide by the rules in which he has committed to. He came into the debate with a plan to fully violate the rules to which he and his campaign had agreed to. We have seen by his business dealings, that he is believes the rules don't apply to him. He is textbook narcissistic. By his strategy, Trump drug America through dung hill and we all became stained by it. We have a criminal, mob thug cult leader as president and we will only get worse if he is reelected.
