How in the world does someone defend themselves from an act where the year is in question? Now I’ve never been sexually assaulted, but I have had a handful of some extremely horrible things happen in my life and I remember all of them to within a day or month going back to 6 years old and I’m 48 now. I find it difficult to think that I can remember my trauma 42 years, 35 years, 31 years, and 19 years later but she can’t remember the year of something that happened 25 years ago (I was wrong earlier when I said 35). She said some pretty damn goofy things about rape to Anderson Cooper. Even he was shocked at the time. She didn’t put the events in her diary I didn’t hear any evidence beyond her story, that puts those two people together at the department store (if you have please let me know) She got some basic facts about the Department store wrong why didn’t she make ASA civil charges against the other 20 men she claimed have harmed her including Les Moonves? Why was Trump the only one? She didn’t try to press this issue at all for 25 years. I get it that many many women choose not to come forward out of fear, or embarrassment. But this reminds me of the shenanigans Christine Blasey Ford tried to pull.
