Coke vs Pepsi?

Coke most of the time and especially with rum. Pepsi once in awhile.
@BIG ERN I cannot stand MacDonald's coke. Really. That stuff is awful. Too much syrup, not enough carbonation. It's always flat and too sweet. I like to imagine that the genius that came up with "new coke" had something to do with Mickey D's and they forever got stuck with the bad stuff.

The top 5 in-state HS football players hold offers from Nebraska. When was the last time that was true? 2019 appears to be a great year for in-state talent.

The top several Nebraska hs players should *always* get offers. For too long now we've been slow playing some of the top Nebraska recruits in the hope of getting them to walk-on. This tactic has bitten us in the ass several times in recent years, causing us to lose top notch recruits from Nebraska because some other team offered them first and got them to commit. /gets off soapbox.

I'm not saying there haven't been mistakes (probably a lot, and the thing with Bryson Williams still ticks me off), but you have to draw the line somewhere every year. Some years that line might be 2 players. Other years it might be 6.
I do think if you have a player of equal talent in Nebraska and equal talent anywhere else, you always go for the one in Nebraska. Maybe even if it's lesser talent, because their motivation to help the team will likely be higher, and the chance they transfer lower.

Did you ever want to know what Harry Potter would look like if he grew up and became a public defender?

Call sign: Husker
Name the TV show and character.

Hey Nebraska, were all your needs met with top-flight talent or nah?
-
Now Nebraska is taking 25-27 in this class? I remember Riley talking about only 15 or so.
-
I am trying to put together the numbers. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Nebraska has 69 remaining players on scholarship, 19 current 2018 commits. 3 open spots for the 2018 class.

Good stuff. @Red Five

Riley can’t think that the game plan against Purdue is “building in the right direction”. He is going to force Moos’ hand.
-
I don't always agree with Josh Peterson (the 1620 host) but he had a pretty spot on tweet last night - he said he believes it *is* possible to say Nebraska fought hard, got the W and yet recognize that this thing isn't going in the right direction. I didn't watch Riley's pressure but I also think he's just saying things he has to at this point. He's not going to throw himself under the bus.

In recruiting, there should be a change in verbiage from "commitment" and "commits" to "selection" and "selects".

Any recommendations on a video camera that shots 1080p or 720p at 250 fps or better? The frame rate needs to be full frames (progressive) not that interlaced hybrid crap.

Grilling some kabobs tonight. What are good combos? My go to is chicken, bella mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes.

Eichorst's involvement in restructuring satellite camp rules as Adidas rolls out these mega camps has to be clever orchestration, right? That or beautiful serendipity.

It is fascinating how it has been months since anyone has brought up Benghazi or email servers. These were unbelievably meaningful issues just a short while ago. Makes you think.

For those who saw the recent status update from MC (which I deleted), its contents was inappropriate. Religious intolerance and threats violate board rules.

What is the must win game for the 2017 Husker football season? You only get one.

Can the 2018 class size get to 20? S&B implied such.

Grant funding begets grant funding as a student or as a faculty member, but during the transition, it is more about your productivity (number of high tier publications) and how cutting edge and innovative your research is. Not to mention the prestige of your institute. If you notice, not much of that speaks to the merit of your research, so you are right to the extent that it is a weird system.
